Watch Kone have the game of his life against City.....or at least try to. You can't bitch about a new contract or leak PR bullshit to the press (I think Everton is bollocks and the agent is the 'source'), and then get humped by Agüero and co.

Money is riding on it. Expect him to be imperious.

Kone will not have been offered a new contract. He won't have been in negotiations. It only takes his agent to tell him that is the case to set Lamine against the club and start throwing toys out of the pram.

Why do you think the move broke down the first time after we agreed a fee with his club? The agent is the centre of all this. A slimy bastard of an agent plus West African mercenary attitude. Adebayor, Toure, Gyan etc.

If Kone plays, I'm not sure if he'll be imperious or throwing toys out of the pram, it probably depends upon how things were left after his jaunt to merseyside.

Gone quiet on the M'Villa front though.

Sidetracking from the PR Dept?

I believe that they may be devious enough, but are they bright enough?????

Got his team of agents at the AOL today.

Looks like today has been the day of the crunch. Contract discussion I reckon. Hope he get whet he deserves but not a penny more.

Is that not McKay in the middle ?

Just a shout lads
But if worst were to happen and Kone was sold to Everton for £18m

Would anyone take Jason Denayer from City for £8-10m?
21 year old Belgian, can played CB or RB
17 games last season and 3 assists

He wants a new contract, we all know that. Whether that be because he was promised one or whether he thinks he's entitled to one after 4 good months is a different argument.

It's just whether he gets his pay rise here or at Everton.

Yes mate, in fact I'd take him regardless of Kone situation.

He's one I've seen a bit of and he is going to be very good. Belgium are churning out quality CBs for fun.

Just had a look there and with City signing Stones it looks like he is further down the pecking order...

Few articles reporting him with moves abroad to Galatasaray and Besiktas

I'd imagine Premier league football might sway him...

We were linked somewhere the other day mate unless I imagined it, was in the same reports linking him to Turkey.

Apparently he wants to leave as he wants to play, that's usually a good sign.
