I'd say to all fans saying they're not going because of our owners: don't let them stop you having attending. You're going to support YOUR team potentially get promoted - not support the Allam regime. You've been here a lot longer than they have. Get behind the lads.
It's not as simple as that
As it stands today I don't want to get promotion
I can't watch City without wanting them to win
I went Tuesday and expected I'd change my mind...I didn't

As were splitting hairs I'll rephrase it.
I just cannot fathom out how someone who calls themselves a Hull City supporter can chose not to support them in a Wembley Final. If its financial then that's different and they have my sympathy.
I'm not going to go over it all again, just read my earlier post.
No questions then
Read my posts if you want to fathom it out...or don't...whatever

Leicester Forest is a popular dogging location. Leicester Forest East is a well-known motorway service facility. Just thought I'd let you know.:bandit:

There isn't a Leicester forest. There's Leicester Forest East and Leicester Forest West which are both suburban villages. Locally known as LFE. I haven't a ducking clue about t'other one.

Popular dogging location is the St. John's side of bradgate park.

I'll give it a go. For me Hull City is more than the manager, the 11 players on the pitch and the substitutes. It is a community which also includes our supporters. The ones that stand up and sing, the ones that sit with a flask, the young, the old and the disabled. If we get promoted the membership scheme is likely to remain, with huge increases for families the year after. If we don't get promoted the membership scheme is likely to be reviewed and concessions reintroduced. For some the best outcome for the Wembley final is a Sheffield Wednesday win. Wanting City to lose is seen as short term pain for long term gain. That is the effect the Allams are having on a section of our support. Add in the ones that won't give him another penny and you're left with a significant minority of supporters who won't be going to Wembley.

I'm impressed that you know the best dogging spots. I made my post up.:emoticon-0148-yes:

'Last time' wasn't the last time. 2008 was the first time and the first time Hull City had been at Wembley in their entire history.
I don't know where you were in 2008 but the ticketing arrangements were chaotic due to the demand probably but also due to the fact the club had never experienced a Wembley Final before.
I'd seriously question the motives of those people on twitter and on here who are boycotting the club at Wembley in a Final. I can fully understand if it is a financial decision but to stay away on a matter of principle is a bit much. Its not life or death it's a football club, our football club who we are supporting.
The club have put the fans through the mill many many time in the past without giving us anything back on the field and certainly not in Wembley Finals but I don't recall fans publicly staying away because of it when we did get involved in a decent game.
Look at the Newcastle away game during the Lloyd/Hateley era ? Over 6,000 travelled mid week at £25 a ticket ( when we were paying £8 at home) Don't recall all this public hand wringing over the clubs owners then??
FFS Lloyd wanted to move us down South to take Wimbledons place at one stage.
Liverpool away, League Cup and already 6-1 down, we packed the place out.
And why ?
Because in those days we ( who still went) supported the shirt.
How many owners and come and gone since those days when we had sod all on the pitch and those in the Directors Box were ripping the heart out of the club and not putting a penny piece in?
Yet the fans remain the same.
And it will happen again.

Allam is far worse than Lloyd ever was.

It's very hard to compare the club and its fans to today's. Times have changed and in many cases not for the better.
In the worst times, relegation to Div 4 and and the bad owners at least those who went ( not many ) were all of the same mind set. Everyone wanted the best for the club, I don't remember any tut tuting or booing from sections of the crowd when we were singing protest songs or being told off by our fellow supporters for throwing tennis balls on the pitch.
Today many who go to watch are not supporters, they go for the entertainment and when we don't perform they stay away until the next time we are in the premier league. Those with the passion for the club just spoil it for those who want to sit and enjoy the show.
Just re read that and it sort of comes across as a dig at the old school hard core fans who will always want to go see their team, not my intention at all. The actions of our owners are making it easier and easier for those to give up and walk away.

And move the club out of the city, and kick local sports clubs out of a facility he doesn't own, and abolished concessions, and said fans can die when they want...

Forget about kicking fat birds on roller skates out of an enormous sports arena ffs who gives a flying **** about that? That's was the right thing to do.

I've you're really bothered about him saying fans can die when they want youre a real sensitive tart. I woke up that morning and saw the headline 'Protesting fans can die - Assem Allam' and it gave me a right chuckle. Man up ffs. Getting wound up over Allam is like getting wound up over the local ****** calling you playground names.

I know you're a wum but if you really think kicking community sports clubs out of an arena he doesn't own was the right thing to do, then you're a twerp.

I also forgot run up the biggest debt in the club's history while claiming it was a 'gift'.
