I'd have no problem with this, Except with Chelsea, not because it's Chelsea but because the atmosphere in a 60,000 stadium with 20,000 fans in it won't be great. Time for us to be pragmatic.
I think Barcelonas pitch is below ground level. From the outside it is barely taller than Loftus Road, I think what you see are the top two tiers of the five or six. Might be wrong but it's the first thing I noticed when I first went there. Also Ugandas national stadium is slightly subterranean as I used to pay a quid to race my motorbike around the running track and there was definitely a slope you had to go down... A less famous example!
You are certainly right about Barcelona...I was underwelmed walking towards it....but completely gobsmacked inside
