I think he's looked good in every game he's played this season - just that comedy moment against Swansea. He looks more confident and seems to communicate well with the defenders. One floppy punch today but a brilliant display of shot stopping.

I don't think he's played as well as this this season. Overall he's looked good, though one game he was a bit iffy on crosses. Bruce wasn't comfortable playing him during McGregor's bad spell early in the season thus why he signed another keeper.

Well said Bill. His performances in the Cups have been excellent. He's a great shot stopper...as indicated by his penalty save record. Great reflexes and agility. Nice to see him celebrate with his family behind the goal after the game.

Brilliantly executed game plan. Pleased with the result but I cant help feeling that was our chance to beat the twats, but for Aluko unreliable as ever. Diomande did very little but everyone else played well. Even Aluko looked sharp and committed, he just doesn't know how to strike a ball.

Jak - brilliant game and great reaction to his double save
Harry - solid & brilliant turn in the box just before his little tumble
Curtis - what the hell happened last season Curtis back to his best

1. Jakupovic
2. Bruce
3. Davies

Thought Diomande did really well against two world class centre backs. Promising stuff.

Best goalkeeping display since boaz at Spurs and for us oldies Wealands v Man U 1974
Apparently one of the innumerable and least arrogant gooner sites says jak made more saves today than any other keeper this season at the Emirates
Let's be clear arsenal have it in them to tear any team in England ( and most in Europe ) to shreds and our defence minus our captain and our two full backs kept them out.
And as an added bonus two promotion rivals lost ( though two won )
Incidentally does any know if forestieri got a straight red and so will be banned for Friday ?

It was two yellows so he will be back to face us.

1. Jak ---- was there going to be anyone else after that performance, quite simply unbeatable on the day.

2. Davies - marshalled the defence well, and was a brick in the middle, great effort

3. Meyler - one thing you always get with Meyler is 100%, he isn`t the most gifted footballer at the club but my god does he make up for it in spirit and desire, best performance since early in the season when he got injured.

Says a lot for Jak's professionalism and attitude, imo, that he can put in a mom performances like that. After all, he hasn't played many serious game for most of the season.
I wonder if they will now offer him a new contract with the new keeper coming in. I may be wrong but I recall reading his contract is up in June..?
