He's not done anything to prove himself yet. The last manager with a "tells it like it is" attitude was Phil Parkinson.
Anyone know if we have a recall clause? If we have any sense we'd insist upon us having a recall option for if he hits some form and them not having one so they're stuck with his wage if he gets injured OLM?
Who would want to play for a club and management who made no secret they didn't want them? Would you be able to perform at work if your manager made no secret of the fact that he thought you were earning too much and couldn't wait to get rid of you? I don't blame Jimmy in this, I blame the appalling management of both Pearsons, one''s too inept and the other is too interested in his own ego.
Spending time with his missus and kid/kids can only be a good thing. He may get back his appetite for football. If he does well at Ipswich it may spark interest from other clubs,
Or if we employed a manager or "Director of Football Operations" with any sense he may play for us here.
Would that be the Director of Football Operations who's brought in wealthy new owners, got rid of all our overpaid donkeys and replaced them with quality young players?
Yes, the Director of Football Operations who also got us relegated from the Premier League, picked the team for the first month of the season, brought in an inept manager who clearly doesn't want to be here and is now paying our best player to play for another club all because of his appalling management at the beginning of the season.
Let's not dwell, JRB is currently playing for Ipswich, end of.(for now.) This will be re assessed at the end of the season. If Jimmy Bullard has one more injury free season, one where his football ability shines like a beacon. I would prefer it to be here, but as always, the greater good of Hull City afc comes first. Best of luck Jimmy.
You can hardly blame Pearson for us getting relegated, we'd barely won a game for a eighteen months, though Dowie's appointment was a major cock up(the only one he's made, as far as I'm concerned). Nigel's more than happy with us and Jimmy's been taking the piss almost since the minute he arrived, that's hardly Adam's fault.
I for one am glad to see the back of JB, it seems like he has been disrupting the squad for a while. At least he saw sense in the end and deciided to push for the door... You can see why JB and Nige dont really get on as Jb always tries to be the cheeky chap - the sort of disruptive kid who sits at the back of the class.....and Nige with his straight talking serious approach to everything...to be fair there was only going to be one winner. Like other posters say, lets hope he plays well, keeps injury free and fingers crossed someone will take him off our hands at the end of the season. UTT
I don't think so, AP is the Head of Football Operations, Dowie was our Football Management Consultant or complete useless **** as I like to refer to him!!!
