I don't know about that, I'd still class that example as intent. The law claims it has to be deliberate iirc.

As I said, it's too close, too quick and "ball to hand" imo. If it was in the goal mouth I'd say the same, but a ball that went off at an awkward angle, how could the defender possibly anticipate that.
