This is so typical of players who get relegated, panic, then sign for the first Premier League team that flutters their eyelashes in their direction.

Haven't thought through playing style, other players at the club. Nothing.

Just listen to agents saying you have to be top table.

No sympathy for Chester.

Once he left us he became nothing.

She put it on Twitter, and then deleted it.

Fair enough.

It'd take a very brave man to give Miss Chester a mouthful if her dad was stood next to her.

One of the nicest blokes you'd ever hope to meet but by **** you would not want to get on the wrong side of him.

Built like a brick outhouse and a past that demands respect.

Trust me.

He played at centre back in their 0-0 against Port Vale and their 3-0 loss against Norwich.
Chester has only played at centre back for 20 mins in the first half of the Everton game . Until then he has played out of position and in several positions each time he's played . Pulice does not know a good centre back when it's staring him in the face ! He's ruining the boy

Playing style? It's West Brom he's gone to, not ****in Barcelona.

There isn't a great deal of difference in how they play to our tactics last season.

Have you watched west brom recently ? They make us look like Barcelona ! Talk about hit n hope no style what so ever

Swansea should have come in for him...would have been a much better fit
He'd have been a good signing for Liverpool, would have steadied them at the back but as is typical he isn't a fashionable kind of lad to be signing they'd sooner spunk their money on Southampton players and the hideously overrated Benteke

Sarcasm or serious?
Chester simply isn't that good!
We robbed West Brom. Nice change to have the boot on the other foot. I'd have still liked him to stay minds't. But Liverpool. Swansea, ....! Reallyl?

He divides opinion, for me the excellence of his tackling and positional play makes up for him not being a great passer of the ball, he does his job and he does it bloody well

The issue I found with his passing last year was that he didn't just lay the ball off to another centre back our other centre halves tended to do, he actually draw a man and tried to pass it off. Quite often though there was so little movement he would often try a far to risky pass that didn't work. Where as if he just played an easy five yard pass his passing would of looked excellent.

His defensive ability was top class though, and I was gutted when he left as I thought he was an excellent player who gave his all for the club when some players didn't seem to last year.

Agree with all of this.
