I saw this on the twitter yesterday, looks like he's let himself go quite a bit, pretty shocking for an international footballer! One to be avoided methinks, I reckon this would only ever end in tears

To be fair, he's pretty much always been relatively 'full in the face'. That's certainly my recollection of when I've watched Roma matches.

 

Probably offered to throw in a 1970's broads cruiser and a pallet of Colmans mustard as a sweetner.

The prospect of Destro playing for us sounded mouth-watering at first, but it now seems like his is the only mouth constantly watering.

We could do without another overweight striker who takes a month to get fit and firing. I've changed my mind I think.

At the press conference, Neil said that Destro is one who has been discussed. He also confirmed he has no fresh injuries ahead of the trip to Wearside:

“We’re the same as last week. We have no new injuries. Martin Olsson is nearing fitness. He has been doing a lot on his own and he will join in with the group probably this week coming now. Kyle Lafferty is coming back as well.”

 

Did Roma sign Dzeko?

If they did I would say that his wages are massive. So maybe a sneaky £4.5m bid would be enough as they need to get his wages off the payroll. I suspect not though.

I have just looked and they have signed him on a loan this season with a view to a permanent move. I reckon they need the cash.
