Vardy has been a bargain to be fair, great find.

Can't say I'd ever wish to go to his hairdressers mind.

That was the summer after we signed him...

No prizes for guessing what he did with his first payslip...

I ain't panicking, just p*ssed off. Wouldn't it have been great, just for once, if we'd had our business done by now.
IIRC Dick had identified players to congers before he quit and came back, so how come they're not signed up already.
Remember when we signed Tore Andre flo & Marcus stewart on the last day of the window and paid over the odds ?
That's what happens the later you leave it.

Different chairman, different manager and different budget.

I don't even look at mine like, they get sent online and don't even open the feckers.

Probs being fleeced within an inch of me life like, haha.

I wasn't paying tax on my company car a few years ago, didn't realise because I wasn't looking at my wage slips, then one month I got paid £14 when HMRC decided to take it all back in one go. That was a lean month.

They ain't allowed to do that you know mate I think the max is about 17%.

Not that it helps you now like...

Yeah, I now mate, I actually chose to let them keep it, I could have spread it out. Was a good month for it to happen on, well not good but could have been worse. Wifey didn't like paying the bills mind <laugh>

will Dick get the couple of next level players in before the window closes?

But why haven't they come already, why have we left it so late again ?
Ellis must know we can't do the great escape every year and yet he wont spend any really big money to make sure that we don't have to.
It's like having a boat with a hole in it, you could pay to have the hole fixed but you'd rather keep frantically bailing out the water because it's cheaper.
Maybe we have tried to buy the better class of player but they wont come, Dick would not have returned if he knew were not going to spend, I think were trying but no luck as yet, also good players don't want Relegation battle.

Dick apparently identified six players by the time he left. Congerton did very well to have four of them at the AoL before July was out. Nobody could predict that two of them were going to fail medicals (if that's what happened).

Don't let facts get in the way of a good whinge, Relic!

Amidst all this doom, gloom, spleen venting at the club, Dick was in chareg of the team put out on Saturday and getting them ready. Some responsibility has to fall on his shoulders, too. Be cause we could have been a lot better prepared than we were.

Ha, yeah sorry to introduce facts - bad taste on my part <laugh> I agree with you on preparation mind.
