People talking about Huddlestone and soace in the championship...

Did you see just how much of it Huddersfield left for him at times yesterday? And they had 3 in the middle.

Did you not think that was as the game went on and Huddersfield had to open up a bit ?

I reckon Powell thought we'd play 3-5-2 (as SB has done for pretty much 3 seasons) so matched up.

Or maybe they play that way - dunno really !

I think I've just wasted 45 seconds of my life posting this.

I found it funny that many people were saying Huddlestone wouldn't perform in the championship as the intensity of the opposition closing down is greater, he had so much time on the ball to pick his pass and if its like that every week, he'll be our most important player imo.

Whether Huddlestone gets closed down much or not could very largely depend on the other teams tactics.

Speaking of Huddlestone did anyone see him and Robertson celebrate Akpoms goal? They both celebrated like we just won the league. It was great to see and suggests they're both up for the challenge this year

As of late Friday evening no replay of the Huddersfield game has been posted on Tiger Player. So it looks like us ex-pats won't be voting on MOM this season...other than the odd game such as Wolves on Sunday which we can view live. Tiger Player has some explaining to do since they are selling subscriptions based on their claim of full game replays.
