If you have access to the Sunday Times can you copy accross the Rod Little article on Watford please? I am told it is an interesting rant!
I don't have access to the online version (I thought I did?). Have to admit, I did look at it, but these items I tend to just pass over. The piece is a pot shot at the 'instability' at Watford and how Flores should be the bookies favourite for the sack and not Mr Integrity.
It's titled: Who will be first to get the bullet? Watford's latest manager likely to be season's first casualty but Rodgers will be safe.
"JUST how did Watford make it to the Premier League? The club seems to be run in a manner which can kindly be described as “a bit odd”. A man called Quique Sanchez Flores is the manager, but if I were a Hornets fan I wouldn’t get a replica shirt printed with his name too quickly.
Sanchez Flores has enjoyed a fairly patchy managerial career and, save for a very brief stint indeed at Madrid’s suburban also-rans, Getafe, his most recent achievements have been in the might of the Pro-League, the United Arab Emirates’ top division.
Pot shots follow at Flores' record (winning Europa League is dismissed very lightly).
"...it wouldn't surprise me terribly much if he was the first premier league manager to bite the dust, and did so before the final test gets underway, or maybe before Root and Broad et al have recovered from their hangovers'.
It's just another fat, lazy journo trying to make jokes at others expense. Let's face it, he's a Millwall fan, so he knows **** all about football and even less about the Premier League.
