Yes, we wouldn't want to have to chase more than 150.

Aussies 76-4 now. Still plenty of time for us to throw this away though. Will be happier once Warner goes, he's looking dangerous, but may run out of partners.

Warner gone - that's got to be it now. Six down and still 34 behind.

Another remarkable days cricket...13 wickets and counting, plus almost 300 runs....this game is moving so quickly. Hopefully bowl them out tonight as i wouldn't fancy having to chase more than 100 on this pitch......

Two wonderful bowling spells from bowlers who have come back from the depths of test despair: Johnson and Finn. Neutrally it's good to see both back as they are formidable strike bowlers to have after the new ball pair.

Bit unlucky for Wood, but he should replace Anderson unless they replace like with like and go for a swing bowler.

Just as well I have no interest in cricket whatsoever and that I'm sure I could find a million others things to do . ......Like a game of coits or pulling out old teeth with a pair of multi grips. Yes, that sounds so much more inviting.

Oh and while I'm at it, congratulations to the Poms for making a go of it. Good to see them pick up their game. Now, if only we can do the same for the following two tests.

Anyone else worried that if the Aussies get to around 100 - 150 that we might have a few problems?

Not really. It's still only the third day, so the pitch shouldn't be an issue.

2-1 up followed by two draws and my series prediction comes good!

Squeaky bum time - If we lose two or three early wickets it could be a real nail-biter, we really need a solid start. We should win but we always seem to do it the hard way...

Starc & Neville showed there are very few demons in the pitch this morning.....just play sensibly after lunch see off Johnson and take runs of the others.....
