Rodgers managed it.
We won't sign him. However good he is, his name has been in the British press way too much, and as a result his wage expectations don't provide us the shrewd 'value for money' solution that we go for. Expect most signings to be relatively unearthed gems with relatively reasonable wage expectations. We need numbers this season at least more so than we need a marquee signing or anyone that would break our current wage structure.
He won't in all probability, as i sad earlier, his wage demand are huge and proving to be a stumbling block.

So according to rumours/reports we're losing Schneiderlin, Clyne and Alderweireld and we're no longer signing Vihena or Clasie (Roma).Well Happy Birthday to me

Seriously though, the lad is going to have to work on his quiff if he comes here....needs some serious wax action to be a striker here.

Would much rather Yarmolenko if we're to target wingers from the Ukrainian Premier League - can't argue with Konoplyanka though, tremendous player; what a midfield that could be!
