I never thought to, was too happy<doh> I was on twitter as Dan King broke the story and have had sky bet open in a tab the whole time this has gone on. I was in perfect position to nick in.<doh><doh><doh><doh><doh><doh><doh><doh>

I had paddy power open. Got £40 in my account. He wasn't even on the list so I was about the email them to find out. Got in too late

Aye or Mrs Advocaat only wanted a fat retirement sum. Imagine the conversation:

"Tell them you don't want it. Wait till the odds are daft, then stick that £500k bonus Ellis gave you at the end of the season on, then tell him you'll go back".

Job's a good'n.

Spoken in jest fella but imagine a smaller bet made of €1000 or summit. Quick fire quarter mill. Is Mrs Dick owt to do with Fifa?<whistle>

Well, that`s encouraging.

What we need now is a quality bloke to be ready to take over, 6 quality players and Carver to get the job up the road.

That would be quite nice.

I've got serious doubts that he ever drifted out to long odds, anything longer than 33/1 and I have trouble believing it.

Big Sam said he wasn't interested and he was still favourite for the job.

I doubt the bookies ever pushed Advocaat out.

I've seen him out to 100s Tel, couldn't tell you if they drifted further though

100's? Seems ****ing mental mate.

There's no logic there, Sam Allardyce remained a hot favourite despite distancing himself from the job yet Advocaat drifted out to silly odds.
