    Good Morning Everyone,

Well done to Norwich who beat Boro in the Play off final 2-0.

I think the writing was on the wall as soon as we knew Bamford was not fully fit.

Speaking of Bamford, how does a club like that manage to sign a player of his quality on loan (from Chelsea) and we can't?

Could losing a play off final effect effect Boro's performance in the Championship next season?

Well done to the England Cricketers who beat New Zealand in the first test. What an amazing come back!

Leeds have a new assistant Manager. His name is Rob Kelly.

    Here's a bit about him :-

    1) Last season Rob Kelly was an assistant boss at Premier League side West Brom, working alongside Alan Irvine before the Baggies made a change and appointed Tony Pulis. Irvine described him as having a 'great personality', and good at building relationships with players, quoted by the West Brom website.

    2) Kelly has managed in the Championship in his own right before, steadying the ship at Leicester City as caretaker in 2006 after Craig Levein was sacked, and being appointed full-time.

    3) He managed Preston for one game as caretaker boss in 2010, and led them to a 7-0 win in the FA Cup against Colchester United.

    4) The last game he managed in the Championship was in 2011/12 as a caretaker boss for Nottingham Forest, bridging the gap between Steve McClaren's sacking, who he worked under at the club, and Steve Cotterill's appointment.

    5) Kelly once worked as a youth team coach at Watford and academy director at Blackburn Rovers, showing he could be ideal to help Leeds' young talent progress.

We also have a new head of recruitment, according to The Sun.

The paper write: "Leeds have also made another key addition to their backroom staff, with highly-rated Steve Head joining from Reading as head of recruitment.

Steve Head was at Fulham for a decade, and prior to that spent 10 years working in Southampton's academy.

Reading's website described his key responsibility at the club as European scouting, which is bound to appeal to owner Massimo Cellino, as well as new boss Uwe Rosler who brought in players from across Europe at Wigan.

The club's website also explained how he was asked to scout by Roy Hodgson on behalf of England ahead of the World Cup.

The backroom staff ARE STARTING TO TAKE EFFECT...

    Pearson

    Rosler

    Kelly

    Head

Hope we emulate this when signing new players...

If transfer rumours are correct, we are about to sign 3 goalkeepers :-

    Paul Robinson

    Simon Moore

    Daniel Bentley

What is your order of preference?

Morning all, hope y'all had a nice bank holiday weekend.

I read on here that many questioned why we were looking for another GK. I think that may have something to do with the fact we only have one on the books after releases 3? For me I'd get Bentley, if not then Moore and not Robinson at all unless we can get him on the mega cheap...

Looks like things are coming together in the backroom. Noticed that that Head was employed to scout out opposition for England which is impressive

On paper that looks a really decent off pitch set up.
If it wasn't for the fact you know that Cellino will not stop interfering i would see this a real progress.
Now it's time to see the first player signings. If we go for four or five quality players rather than ten or more ****e merchants we might have real reason to help. We need two keepers as understudies, but we need a ball winning midfielder and a decent striker And some width. In a nutshell we need to spend about £6mill.

Good morning from a sunny Bardsey to Matt and co
Well it looks like the foundations have been laid now all we need is some quality signings
Re the goalkeepers Bentley for me young and will have a saleable value whereas Robinson is too old
I thought that Norwich were far superior Boro played like we use to play in finals frightened Friend was the only player that had a good game Clayton how anyone can see anything in him beats me Hoolahan tormented him

Morning Glory, we can only hope Cellino has learned his lessons.

    2 x keeps 1 being decent

    1 x decent left back

    2 x strikers. 1 being decent

2 x wide men both decent

    Morning Mike,

    Foundations looking good.

Depends on how much Robbo will cost us I suppose.

Nowich dominated, the difference could have been Bamford, though once we knew he was injured, Boro were in trouble

I really like Taylor at left back so do we need another left back as Cooper can do a job there

Morning Elland and company - I watched a show on sky sports where premier league managers admitted they are quite fussy where a player goes when loaning them out, it depends on the team, the position he is wanted for and that teams style of play and on who the manager and coach are of the team he is going to, it isn't just a case of sending them out to anyone they can.

I find it so hard to get excited about Pearson, Rosler and Kelly and Head, on paper they look fine but one spit of the dummy from Cellino and they could all be gone in a week, again, Childs, Thompson and Salerno all looked okay at one stage but it didn't take long for all to vanish without word or reason as to why. I really want to believe that they will do a good job and remain at the club but I have zero trust in Cellino.

Keepers - I would like Daniel Bentley (first choice) or Simon Moore as our number one and drop Silvestre to the bench. Bentley has attracted interest from West Ham so I doubt we will manage to get him.

He's been saying that he would be interested in coming back, I'd say he'd know that he'd have to take a drop in wages.
