second part very fair fair. the phrase world class is going way too far. I'd say very good player, top 4 player but world class? no way.
I mentioned Muller as an example of the type of player that Liverpool should be looking at to compete again at the top level.

You demand loyalty passion commitment and so on but.. player scores 20+ PL goals, flog him cos he's a big candy floss.
I never demanded loyalty from players. You don't have to be loyal to show passion and commitment either; see Suarez, Tevez, Mascherano, ect for examples.

a) will to achieve not just pick up payslip
b) work ethic should be top notch no matter what game it is.
really when you send a scout along you want to see a guy kicking lumps out of team mates in training and not a gobshite who sets fire to his house with fireworks or a hot tub (badontelly first, smalling second)
i'd rather someone who gave a **** who got themselve sin trouble than a whinge bag with anger management issues to gets themselves in trouble for no good reason.

Suarez and Tevez are great examples. Both were unhappy about something but neither sulked, they just got on with it (when on the pitch) and played football. Why? Because they love the game and hate losing. Obviously, this kind of attitude can bring other problems such as biting or being mardy and refusing to play the last five minutes of a CL game

He certainly does but a first choice striker playing every game should be outscoring bit part players at a minimum no matter what they cost. It's essentially why he's first choice and they're bit part

well put it like that ... Balotelli has nearly 10 goals ... i.e. nearer to 10 than 20
So that's 11 goals you need to replace next season just to not fall even lower than you already are
