Its not really up for debate is it? Lukaku was only bought last summer so anything he did for Everton last season whilst on loan doesn't count. His goal record for Everton this season is eclipse by Studge's record prior to this year. This year's record isn't that bad bar the injuries. Therefore, so far Studge as been the best value, especially at 42% of the cost to buy too. However, I am not keen on injury prone players. I said we should have sold both Torres and Agger before we did because of their injury records and I've said similar for Studge already this season. Given the choice now of Lukaku for £28m or Studge for £12m, I'd pick Lukaku purely on the injury records. However, in reality I wouldn't pick either of them, I'd go for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang instead
The real question, and how you phrase it is important, did he know he had a hip issue before he signed?, logic says no because if he knew he'd have had it looked at years ago, cos you know, football is only his career like, am sure he just ignored a problem all these years until lately.. actually no that makes no sense at all does it. So maybe try thinking about things before letting your arse leak on to this thread Also, totally busted you on your Studge "improving or not" stats fiction
That he had a hip problem? as soon as the specialists told him? Surgery always follows such discoveries by the medical team, so, he can't have known long. #bustedagain
Are you really that stupid? Just cos there is a hip thing in his family doesn't mean he has the same thing. until a medical professional has a look and sees a problem nothing happens. So I think I see what you are trying to get at, but unfortunately you're not quite there. Nearly, but not quite Are you finished making up **** out of thin air to back your point yet?
He was talking about having fast twitch muscles like his uncles and Dad meaning more injury prone. Athletes work best with slow twitch muscles.
He still has 19 goals And more league goals than............ All of Liverpool strikers (Borini, Lambert, Balotelli and Sturridge) I know, I classed Borini as a striker.....
Good point - he was only bought last summer but in the age of footballing impatience, players are expected to hit the ground running, especially high priced ones. The second bit of that sentence counts in as much as a loan deal is essentially a 'try before you buy' taster of what you're purchasing and he seems to have not lived up to that promise. A bit like the pictures on some packaged food that are very disappointing when you open them
Football's a team game, maybe Lukaku should tell those around him to pull their fingers out, it could earn their club the points they need to climb from midtable obscurity.
Correct!! Will Ings be up to the standard? Mind you he will be on a "free" as he is out of contract!! If only you guys could persuade Muller of Bayern Munich, who looked mightily p***ed off to be taken off last night, to join you!! Don't know what has happened to Robben, but if Chelsea could persuade him to play for them before they were famous, could you guys persuade him to come to Anfield as his days at Bayern look numbered?
I don't like muller that much The boy is bayern to the core though He will be hoping guardiola can be seen off I reckon
Yes I saw that. I'm not gone on him in general play. He scores goals though.. seems to get in positions to score anyway but I'd not rate him outside the box. I dunno. That's at bayern though. He's problem much much much better than lallana Who'd I suppose be in the same right side position for us.
The way you are talking about players, like a cattle swindler You demand loyalty passion commitment and so on but.. player scores 20+ PL goals, flog him cos he's a big candy floss.
