I've not been on much myself lately, so I've only just gotten to this. Gutted.
Kinda puts today's loss in the cup in perspective.
R.I.P Dave, love to his family, may they remember only the happy times.
None of my business really, but given that there were posters finding this thread as recent as today, should it not be left to be seen by all visitors for a while longer yet mate? Two weeks as passed now and I think most have past on their condolences by now. I will regretfully unsticky this thread now.

Maybe just leave it so that when it gets to, say,a week with no new comments/new people posting, it get's unstickied?I consulted Gonzo before carrying out this action. If plenty of people want it keeping as a sticky for a bit longer then I have no problem reinstating it (might have to be someone else by then though)
Its a temperamental subject and the unstickying action will never feel right no matter how long we leave it.

Dave would be very amused we're squabbling over his not606 obituary thread.

Just been reading back through some of the battles Dave and I had on here, made me cringe, smile, wince, laugh and howl in equal measure. I really miss my old sparring partner, we had some epic, pig headed arguments, but we were also playing to the crowd on occasion, and I'm sure we often shared the same wry smile. God bless Dave mate.
