Not really his fault. He only came to the UK 3 years after the death of Churchill (and 13 after the death of Einstein). How was he supposed to know about the importance of historic things?
Assem Allam said "no further application". The panel said a further application was required and Assem Allam has now made a further application. How making a further application ties in with his statement "no further application" I don't know. I see you now agree that the first application failed because most of the season has gone and the panel said the FA didn't have to consider it.
I have read the ruling a number of times. There seems to be a number of people who cannot get to grip with the fact that the decision on last years Name Change application was declared void by a tribunal. I am trying to get Obidiah to clearly state what that decision was, by asking him a direct question, which he seems to be reluctant to answer. Here for everyone to see, is the courts final decision. please log in to view this image That application was for season 2014-15 and the councils decision was declared void. The court stated that it would be unfair due to the length of the process for that application to be resubmitted and that the Club were free to re-apply. In other words there was no decision and it was too late to re-enter the same application. Effectively, Assem Allams letter of intent to apply for season 2015-16 is not a second application it is a repeat of the first application but for a new season. HE HAS NOT GONE BACK ON HIS WORD.
On the one hand it's nice to see the antis true faces again. You wonder why the more moderate visitors to this site don't post. On the other hand, with the massive amount of business and marketing skills quite obviously shared among you, I don't understand why you've not got a consortium together to buy the club. Why haven't you? Noone believes your bollocks about not wanting him out. Any of you. You clearly believe you could run the club better and more profitably, plus engage with all of the fans as well as increase our fan Base. Why not prove it? Must be some local businessmen or rich retired sportsmen who love the club, or just a chance to make money with your undoubted expertise. Bit more effort than just gobbing off online, but honestly let's see something meaningful from all you keyboard warriors.
And that's why the whole thing is such a shame. He did save the club and I for one will be ever grateful for that but he now continues to divide it.
Paragraph 95: "The club is free to make a new application, and it must be satisfied with the substantive relief we have granted." According to the panel a new application is required, no ifs, no buts, no maybes. Assem Allam there will be "no further application". You right he didn't say there woouln't be a "new" application.
I haven't said that at all. I said the first application hasn't failed. I said the court declared it void. Assem Allam said he would not make a second application to change the name. Implicit in that statement is that the first application fails.......in other words "I will not make a second application if the first fails". The first DID NOT FAIL was declared void by the tribunal court.
He's now trying to bring about the end of Hull City, he has been for 2 years, he's lied and cheated constantly throughout that time and you and your dad are defending it. You're Assem Allam fans, not City fans.
If someone paid my mortgage off I would be grateful. It would still make him a bell end if he screwed my wife!!!!!
PLT, the spotty faced student and self proclaimed adjudicator of who can or cannot be a Hull City fan!!!! Fcuking moron.
Is this another presumed assertion or have you carried out a poll which confirms this this theory? The silent majority, perhaps?
The court, as you call the panel, declared the decision void not the application. The court said a new application was required to change the name (paragraph 95). A new application means it will be the second application. Something Assem Allam said wouldn't happen when the words "no further applications" came out of his mouth.
