Well the referee today was Roger East. I played in goal in the Commercial Houses League Minnows Cup Final, versus Hospital Sports, at Stoneham Lane and he was the left-back - in local leagues he wasn't that bad either. I know he used to go to The Dell and watch Saints, I've been with him. I was actually worried when he was referee 'cause quite often it can go the other way.

Still who gives a toss? It was a great result, especially after two home defeats that left a bad taste in the mouth.

Well done Saints and Ronald! Match of the Day tonight will get a watch!

I don't think Pellè was that bad today but I wouldn't mind seeing him rested. Elia, Mané, and Tadić as the front three (with Tadić on the left of course) would be exciting. And we've got Djuricic to fit in as well, so lots of attacking options albeit not much choice as a target.

Pelle needs a break, and it would be good to have some competition up front. Unfortunately, we don't have anyone else.

Just to add, I would be very disappointed if we hadn't won today. Why, you ask? Because I think this QPR lineup favoured us, they were there for the taking. Come on. Two pensioners in the defence, Clint and Dunne, unfit Caulker who had cramps in the 70th minute already. Barton, need I say anything? Overall bunch of hardworking grafters with little quality. Only one worth mentioning is Austin, but he had zero support. Taarabt is tricky and flashy, but very little end product.

I hope QPR fans won't take offense, I mean them no disrespect. I think they can field a stronger first eleven, more balanced, more quality.

I only saw the last ten minutes but that was a cracking goal from Mane. A draw would have been a decent result and a win is a very good one.

It's quite amusing when you read all these articles about Saints and how Tadic and Pelle have been key to our success. Tadic can't get in the side at the moment while Pelle's only scored 2 league goals since mid-October and isn't playing well.
I wonder if the two or sometimes three opposition defenders desperately trying any tactic available to stop pelle and come off knackered think pelle is playing badly?

Sadio you ****ing beauty. You can thank me, I transferred him into my fantasy team this morning.
