Yes - he'd provide competition for Davis and cover in the wide positions. So difficult to balance squad depth, team spirit, happy players and bringing through youngsters - on the face of it though he'd compliment what we have providing the character fits.
 
With all this talk of players wanting to leave because they want to play for a bigger club or get more money. Perhaps it is time for saints to up the anti a bit. We are not so far away crowd wise to the likes of Chelsea, Spurs Liverpool etc. so perhaps we should also start on the road of expansion. We have done well it would seem with the academy. So it seems we are expanding from the ground up.
As I have said before though it is a chicken and egg situation.
To be competitive we have to be able to attract more income. Until we do that to a degree the players have the upper hand in my view, as we cannot afford the kind of wages they can get from these other clubs. That is our stumbling block and always will be until we expand our player infrastructure. As usual for that you need money and a lot of it. Until then......how many times are we to suffer last seasons exodus?
All well and good saying we are not a selling club, but having our hands forced by greedy players leaves a lot to be desired. Mind you perhaps the Lovren's of this world may be a lesson to some perhaps?
 
Just because fans talk about players wanting out doesn't make it true. There will be some every season, but I don't think this will be an issue for Saints any more than any other team, Last season was a one off because we had some flashy players (who arguably looked better than they were) and teams were willing to pay big money for them. No reason to think that will happen again, especially as we are having a good season.

I think only Morgan and Clyne will go. Jay probably will still be injured.

He plays in Germany or Holland. Is a bit like Pelle, but in his early twenties.
