Just a quick girl related question: I haven't messaged that girl I like in a while as I'm playing it cool (yes, it is something I'm capable of doing), but I was just thinking of sending a quick message on Christmas day and just say 'Merry Christmas, *name*, hope you have/had a good day' (depending on when I send it). I'd probably message my other friends too.... but should I message her? it'll be just over 3 weeks since I last spoke to her (hoping for absence makes the heart grow fonder rather than out of sight, out of mind).
It's perfectly normal to recieve cards from virtual strangers (like my neighbours!) so sending a text to a friend is no problem.
Bin lorry run into Christmas shoppers waiting to cross a road in Glasgow. 6 Dead and many injured. Very sad.

PL, I don't claim to be an expert, but there again who is, but isn't 3 weeks since you spoke, just a tad frozen rather than cool?? Don't message her on Christmas day, who the hell uses facebook etc on Christmas day, but better on Christmas eve, wishing her a great Christmas, and then tell her you cant live without her, and promise to walk 500 miles, then 500 more to be the guy who walks a 1,000 miles to fall down at her door! (well maybe not the last 2)
I shall be exchanging the annual Xmas greeting with the ex-partner. Haven't seen her in over 10 years.

Had heard some say he jumped from a bridge, onto the road. Sincerely hope that isn't the case but now isn't really the time to speculate, I guess.

Sad for Carlisle. I like him. I saw a couple of programs he fronted about his problems and I thought he always came across very well. Hope he pulls through and he and his family can recover.
