Hull City’s medical staff will run checks on Mohamed Diame’s knee after the midfielder was forced off early in the second half of Wednesday night’s draw at Everton. Diame recently missed the Tigers’ home game against Spurs with an irritation of the patella tendon but returned for last weekend’s game at Manchester United and the trip to Goodison Park. However, with the same problem flaring up again, manager Steve Bruce says further investigation is now needed. “Mo’s knee is sore,” said Bruce. “He’s got one of those horrible tendonitis ones where a whack on it takes him back to square one. “We’ll have to take a look at that.
