So Remy signs with Chelski, that's how many proper strikers that were available now and we didn't bother? Mandzukic, Balotelli, Remy....

We've played quite well so far. A definite improvement with our passing in both accuracy and pace, if we keep that up in the second half we will have opportunities to win this game.

They've hit us on the counter very quickly whenever they have had the chance, they've looked dangerous a couple of times but in general we have dealt with it well. For the goal koscielny looked confused and I hope he is ok and not out for any other games. Why did the medical team think he was ok to continue?

That's been the story of Arsenal for the past season, so by your own admission we still haven't improved on that, yet you still keep singing this non-stop positive song. We got raped because of that last season, and Leicester are exploiting that, so what will a top side do against us? It's time to take those tinted biased glasses off, and start looking at reality.

We're crying out for a proper anchorman.

Remy confirmed. Chelsea have got rid of Torres and have the replacement sorted the next day. We hoard our money in the bank for no apparent reason

this not the Arsenal we are used to watching .

No flair , no intelligence , they look like there IS no plan .

Just pass it around a bit and see what happens .

Where are the players making runs , drawing off defenders and MAKING opportunities.

We are reactive , not proactive.

We need to go out quick and get another goal. If we score quickly it'll deflate them and we can get control of the game back.

I wonder if at this moment Not PC Enough would like to throw more accusations of me not being a fan for saying that other teams look better than us ...

To be fair, this is the Arsenal we have grown accustomed to watching over the past 4 years.

How often since the start of last season have we controlled a game though?

There's nothing we can do to stop a team choosing to play counter attacking football and fielding pacey forward players to give themselves a chance to do it. They've hit it long at every opportunity and half of there chances have started with the gk quickly hitting it diagonally across the field. They will get chances playing like that against us or any attacking team, it's about how well we can defend against it.

For the most part we dealt with it well, though we need to stop them getting so many crosses into the box. The goal for me goes down to Kosc not being with it.

Whilst I agree we need an upgrade on our dm spot we can't blame all our problems on that and assume signing someone automatically deals with everything. A dm can't stop the gk booting the ball up the pitch.

When teams like these can get at your back line so easily imagine what the big boys will do.
Tbf I think it's not too much of a stretch to say that these early games aren't much of an indication as to how the season will pan out.
Remember 2 of our back four are new, and monreal is in and out of the team. Obviously the understanding isn't going to be there just yet.

How often since the start of last season have we controlled a game though?

We controlled loads of games last season. Lots of clean sheets. We regularly got comfortable 2-0 type wins.

This season we controlled the community shield but since then haven't hit full stride. I said before the game I expect us to improve over the next handful of games as match fitness and sharpness returns and the players get used to there new team mates.

So I won't overreact to a few sub par performances at the start of the season.

Yes, there is.

We can look capable of scoring goals. A team trying to snatch a goal on the counter can only do so much, and you should be dominating possession in that situation anyway.

We've had the most possession ... and looked completely ineffectual when we've had it.

I see endless pwople on twitter moaning about Sanogo but hes been far from our worst player

Chambers needs to cut that sliding thing out, it always nearly costs us, it cost us at Everton, and almost now again, needs to stay on his feet.
