Who's responsible for that ****e <doh>

Van Aanholt was dreadful for their 2nd goal and Cattermole scored a blinder as well as making a beautiful pass for the equaliser.

Seb had a decent game but I suspect he's got the nod because of a tap in for the goal.

Very poor imo.

See I agree with what you say but Van Aanholt did little else wrong from my memory - looked good on the ball, good distribution so maybe they've looked at the positives from his game (good IMO)

My Dad went to the game and said Catts and Larsson ran the midfield - said they were both superb.

It was hardly a tap in, he took it very well in my opinion.

I was very impressed but we can't afford a mistake like that every game, it was just basic defending.

It's pointless making good tackles and attacking if we give away really daft goals.

Having said that Mannone didn't help with a poor parry.

I think this is based purely on stats, so Seb's and Catts' goals will score them equal points regardless of difficulty. Also, van Aanholt won't lose anything for the second goal as "switched off" isn't a stat you can reliably record. This will purely account for interceptions, tackles wucceeded / failed, etc.

<ok>

Ah right, I thought it was one of these ****ty Garth Crooks type of things.

Van aanholt made 8 interceptions, the most by any defender. He also got an assist so thats why he's there.

Also an 89% pass success rate which really is top draw from a full back.

In his defence for the 2nd conceded goal. The mistake was first made when we stood off and let a shot to come in and trouble Mannone.

I agree, just saying I hope it's not a trend ........ Chelsea supporters were saying he's prone to defensive errors.

Yeah I saw that too - however, I'm hoping with more gametime and more coaching from Gus and the team he can get rid of them.
My Dad said he did well other than the goal as well

Haha we are great fans, first proper left backs on our books for years, gets in the team of the week and we moan about it!!!
The kid did great and when you factor how many games he has played in the premiership he will be a star for us.
