According to the SLP were intrested in 29 year old Darius Henderson at Sheff Utd
He was the former Watford player, but got a year left on contract at Bramall Lane
but might off load because of his wages . Weather there's anything in it will have to see

They were right with Ryan Talyor tho !! when we showed intrest .
 
Sounds like the type of player Kaenny is after big experienced
striker, not prolific but has scored a few in this league,has had
a few injuries and suspensions though.
 
The Harewood rumour is doing the rounds again as a mate texted me it going home last night and I told him we heard that weeks ago so were see.

Just under 1 goal in 3 at Sheff U for Henderson in 3 years and they were only struggling last season as the seasons before that they were challenging for the top 6 so didn't exactly set the world alight <doh>

The only thing is perhaps a new challenge is what he needs but its a gamble and that's not Kenny's style.

I can live with the yellows if its mostly showing passion as we all can which makes him our type of player but not if they were silly cards like hacking players down going nowhere out of play around the half way area which is so frustrating. <doh>
 
dont want this one. must be better out there 300 apps. 76 goals too old, as said before we need young chomping at the bit players, Rooney or Le Fondre thats the type we need,,

but in Kenny we trust <ok>
 
I'm not sure about him myself must have seen him play
but does'nt stick in my memory. However Kenny definitely
likes a big man up front and for sure will want some experience,
as well as young talent,although it could be said we have that in
M&M. This is why this type of striker will be linked with the
club but would also expect younger talent to still be on Kenny's
list.
 
Saw him at Reading a few times when he was starting out and I'm sure he's related to Bas Savage. A mate of mine reckons we're trying to get Danny Webber in, of all the strikers we've been linked to, I would get this guy in above all others.

All these rumours are getting ridiculous now. We are supposed to be prepared to pay up to £1m for a striker and yet we are being linked with Henderson who spent most of last season injured, Webber who was released by Portsmouth, Hulse who couldn't get a regular place in QPR Championship side last season. Rhodes, Rooney and Le Fondre are much more promising prospects but I am becoming a bit pessimistic about who we will eventually end up signing.
 
Think Jackett recognises that after selling Moro and letting Chopper join Southend that he needs someone upfront with experience. Whenever Webber has played against us he has always caused problems plus KJ knows him from Watford, I hope this is more than a rumour!
 
I'm sure Webber scored at our place when they tanked us 4-0 the year Warnock finally got Sheff U up when he had about 10 strikers!
 
agree,do not want this donkey,he would not score in a brothel.just hope jackett knows what he is doing,because i dont we need some quality in and quick.

I'd rather go with him as well Adam as a younger, hungrier player still with bags of scope to develop under Kenny's guidance. Le Fondre if we can get him as well but it surely has to be something younger as developing a young squad is what Kenny is all about - in KJ we trust. <ok>

Strangely enough I have always wondered this myself, yet you always knock yourselve back "Like no they won't be wasting their time on here surely?".

So bottom line no £1M for Adam :emoticon-0101-sadsm
