Sounds like the type of player Kaenny is after big experienced striker, not prolific but has scored a few in this league,has had a few injuries and suspensions though.

I'm not sure about him myself must have seen him play but does'nt stick in my memory. However Kenny definitely likes a big man up front and for sure will want some experience, as well as young talent,although it could be said we have that in M&M. This is why this type of striker will be linked with the club but would also expect younger talent to still be on Kenny's list.
Saw him at Reading a few times when he was starting out and I'm sure he's related to Bas Savage. A mate of mine reckons we're trying to get Danny Webber in, of all the strikers we've been linked to, I would get this guy in above all others.
All these rumours are getting ridiculous now. We are supposed to be prepared to pay up to £1m for a striker and yet we are being linked with Henderson who spent most of last season injured, Webber who was released by Portsmouth, Hulse who couldn't get a regular place in QPR Championship side last season. Rhodes, Rooney and Le Fondre are much more promising prospects but I am becoming a bit pessimistic about who we will eventually end up signing.
Think Jackett recognises that after selling Moro and letting Chopper join Southend that he needs someone upfront with experience. Whenever Webber has played against us he has always caused problems plus KJ knows him from Watford, I hope this is more than a rumour!

I'd rather have Rhodes as we know he is a proven scorer in League One so the Championship should only be a little step up for him, you never know
I'd rather go with him as well Adam as a younger, hungrier player still with bags of scope to develop under Kenny's guidance. Le Fondre if we can get him as well but it surely has to be something younger as developing a young squad is what Kenny is all about - in KJ we trust.
