I think it was before the loan but after they sold some land for 100x it's worth to the state or something like that.

From what I gather the Man U debt is now down to circa £250m from an original £660m although there is no explanation of how they repaid Pay in Kind (PIK) debts a couple of years ago and I assume the bonds they sold will mean a dividend return at their end or interest along the way???

Real's debt as reported in 2013 was circa 650m euros inc 90m owed to the banks. The rest is owed to other clubs, government etc. Makes our little transfer installments look silly. They also have big plans for their stadium!!!

Barca's debt is apparently down to 330m euros

Both Real and Barca are being investigated over 'illegal state aid namely ludicrously inflated prices for land deals and favourable loans etc.

So on this subject...Saints have no chance of winning anything because we aren't in enough debt. We need to go bananas......

Didn't they just buy Janmaat? If we've reached the stage when Mike Ashley is aiming to have two well-regarded mid-20s internationals at every position, the world I thought I knew has died.

Isla can play just about anywhere. I'd expect to see him at CM or RM.
 
Mainz have made themselves even more of a hipster team to like by signing FM legend Filip Djuricic on loan.

As far as I can tell it's because Burnley are putting up more resistance than expected over the fee. Not to say it's dead, but Ings isn't going to force a move so we'll have to either pay up or wait until the summer (if we still want him by then)

Yep, he respects Burnley so won't do a Lovren.(wrong thread btw)

He wants to come to Saints, but respects Burnley and wants them to get what is best. I can see this dragging on until near deadline then a deal being done.
 
Maybe mentioned but dont have the time to read back.....but I really really hope Borini says no to moving to Sunderland just to p*ss the scousers off that were thinking they´ll get £14m for him... :)
 
I have completed my move to Liverpool. The song I heard being sung by the Pool fans sent a shiver down my spine. I do to dream of a team full of Jamie Carraghers.
