CHAIRMAN John Berylson has revealed Millwall could smash their transfer record this summer - but insists the club will not pay over the odds for their transfer targets.
Berylson, who flew into London for a board meeting yesterday, said: "Kenny has more money to spend than he has ever had. All of the proceeds from the Steve Morison sale have been given to him and he has more on top of that.
"He's looking very hard. He wants to improve the strikeforce and there are lots of conversations going on.
"I wouldn't be surprised if Kenny spent some big fees because it is something we have discussed at length. He could spend £1million on a striker. But it depends if he can find the right player."
