Tbh I wanted him to stay. Good utility player who caused us no problems in his 12 years here. However, he's gone now and that's the end if it. He was part of the problem here not the solution and was a mainstay of a midfield void of pace, creativity and goals which has led to 3 poor seasons of struggle.we needed a clear out and are 90% down that with the end of ginger Jack. I want Gus to concentrate on bringing some quality pact midfielders in to take us out of the annual bottom relegation stakes. It now transpires that devious black and white Jack has been planning this for some time and stalling the clubs advance s for 12 months. His punishment will be to turn out for the filth next season for a despised manager and even more despised owner. Let's see how long it takes for the Geordie's to remember those derby day celebrations by ginger Jack and the after match taunts of 0-3 salutes onfacebook eh? Gus needs to act quickly and recruit better and ginge will be forgotten quicker than a Geordie slag drops her Bigg Market knickerson a Saturday night. Ftm
Anyone who doesn't sign before the beginning of pre-season of their final year should be put up for sale and told they are no longer in the plans. If they turn down moves let them rot in the reserves. Simples.
According to the club we offered him what he asked for but he refused to sign until we were assured of PL survival - then, once we were assured, he went back on his word and refused to discuss his contract - which, to me, makes him and his advisors a bunch of two faced bastards which I want nothing to do with. His name is Bridcutt by the way
He should have been told 12 months ago to sign a new deal or he'd be sold. Bad management to let him fanny about till his current deal ran down.
I'm willing to bet that Catts gets sent off snapping his legs prior to him getting near our goal. As far as I am concerned JC gave 100% every game. What bothers me is the amateurish way our club messed him about. He is a 25k player nothing more but I firmly believe the club insulted him with a derisory offer when you consider what Seb, Vaughan and Gards were on. He is a good versatile squad player imo.
It's probably true and you're right, shocking business from us. Don't blame Colback. Do we have any idea if they were actually real offers or just derisory to make the club look like they were doing something? How is saying you're going to boo someone "puffing yourself up" you big saddo? You actually thinkt hat when you boo someone you're being a hard man Pitiful
Can you EVER make a post without putting in a line of fantasy/lies just to give more weight to your comments?
Of course there was, we met his demands in January but he wanted to wait till we were safe before he committed only he never returned to the table. This is just my opinion this but I think it's his been his intention to run his contract down for a long long time. All the little **** had to do was tell the truth about his intentions, we could have loaned him out and shifted his wages off the books and got a loan fee for last season. Little unethical spineless mag.
Aye that sounds much better, but you really need pics then, and i usually get thread closed or deleted.
