Is that the game when scum were lobbing bricks into the boys pen from lowfields road and we took matters into our own hands?
That's not right. The yanks were anti imports and taxed goods accordingly. They removed the u from words of products so they could identify foreign products packaging more easily to make sure tax was levied.
I'm not sure Glory, they were given the whole of the lowfield terrace and I was in the West stand and could see loads of objects being thrown between the pen and scum fans. It was the last game of the 79/80 season and we won 2.0, Parlane scored the other goal.
Yep that's Queen English Shako, knew exactly what you men't would use the same words myself, the southern softies don't speak English.
Really?!?!? Pretty good idea, if true. It was my understanding that spelling of words without "u" was the original spelling and that the English added "u" later.
Pleased that "we Americans" are proven to be right, AGAIN? PS, I only read the above post after I submitted my prior one.
Totally chilled, appreciate your changing it, thank you. To be honest, really disapponting to read that people obviosuly still have those views. Anyways, lets move on.
Jonny sorry if you found it offensive, but was due to a converstion woth my bro, He and his septic, yeah we cll her that girlfriend, were travellingand at a customs control there were arrows for americans and isralies, all others another chanell.just we found it strange. OK the Y word you might not like, but spurs fans use it,they are the y... Army, never seen any problem with it.
Apology accepted, truly appreciated. Where was this distinction made in Customs Control? Israel? The reaction to words used is often dependent on context. Unfortunately, in recent history, sentiments have been used to justify mass murder and to perpetuate mythical disinformation leading to other heinous crimes.

So he says to the guy in America into his 7th hour in the office on Easter Sunday!!! In all seriousness, Americans spend way too much time working and not enough time taking a break. This is well documented.
