Rory Delap never failed...
I like the article on the OS. Succinct but says more than it lets on.
Depends what form the option to buy takes. The problem is that even if Osvaldo does fantastically well, he still has us over a barrel. Wherever he decides to go he can simply hold us hostage by refusing to play for any other team.
Theabsolute best case scenario is that we sell him for maybe 12m Euros to Juventus. Anything over 5m I think would be a major win.

I think Juventus will have him at the option price or decide not to take up the option at all. Football clubs tend to deal reasonably with each other in case they want to do business in the future. Wouldn't worry over much about this...the real danger is he will be crap or get an injury.

Rory delap was far from awful. He never failed to put in a shift when asked, never let anyone down, & made up for lack of top class talent with athletic ability and commitment.

I can't imagine Juve paying below the agreed fee - should Osvaldo do well there. This is a player who will be playing for Italy at the WC. If they don't use their option, there could be a bidding war. It wouldn't make sense to take that risk. I think Saints will have the upper hand - we don't need the cash that desperately.
Ever since I can remember our Transfer record signings have failed
I can't see them paying the €19m quoted.
Just noticed that Dejan retweeted the news that Dani had left the club, and then unfollowed him on Twitter. Oooof.
That's quite a send off in its own way.
