City away following today was a wxxk, Liverpool plastics everywhere, what's with the city/pool scarves, just don't get it, also vocal support non existent, only city could take that support away, sat near to hull twats with pool shirts on, only away end in the country they would get away with it. Plastics

I saw about three City fans ( separate incidents ) kicked out early during the game , anyone know what they did to be evicted ?

I thought it was pretty poor today. Apart from a small section on the far right.

1 in every 4 had a 'half and half' scarf. There was actually somebody fairly close to me wearing a Liverpool shirt under a jacket (but it was fairly obvious), though spoke with a Hull accent.

When people were getting thrown out for standing, there were several "Stand up if you're Hull City" chants, and nobody around me joined in. Full of people muttering "It's their own fault", "Why don't they just sit down?".

I think it was partly to do with the shocking and disgraceful stewarding and policing I saw

I was at the far right hand side where we were constantly being told to sit down and whenever there was any chanting everyone was being hold to watch the game rather than give the scouters some banter and threatened with getting chucked out!!

I've never seen such strict and unnecessary stewarding in all the games I've been to!! It totally ruined the atmosphere!!

Today's game will have been Christmas present tickets for Hull born Liverpool fans no doubt.

Why did their stewards let them in our end with Liverpool shirts on?

Can't be arsed with the matches against the top 4, the quislings come out of the woodwork and embarrass us.

Yeah one of the worst showings I've experienced. We kept doing the shushing wind up which got boring after about the third time, and seemed more an excuse to not chant than anything else. Two guys next to me were more interested in taking photos of Gerrard warming up than on the actual game, though they did seem to at least know our players so weren't entirely plastic.

I'm a little confused about the "half scarves" problem. I don't buy any scarves but as far as I am concerned they're only there for a memory of the game just like a program would.
Also it's not like people go out their way to make them, they're sold at every street corner on match day. I'm a little confused.

I agree that wearing them is a little odd, normally they are to be collected and stuck on a wall or something but as long as you don't see a half pool/city scarf on a week where we're playing norwich then I don't see the problem.

I mean most people will have wanted a memory from the game, bought it for a fiver, worn it because they might as well in the cold and that's it. I don't get to see these plastic fans as I'm not in Hull but I've yet to see anyone wear a split scarf like that on a regular basis.

haha that's funny. But it still doesn't make sense. Unless it means that guy supports both spurs and man utd. Sure some plastics will have bought the scarf because they somehow support both but most of them are just mementos, no?

I pretty much agree with you on this. I don't get the ire against them. I've never seen anyone wear one outside of the day of the game. Do people who buy programs rip the pages out referring to the other team too?

There were plenty of foreign torists near me, some of them telling me to sit down. It's a joke, the the announcer at the start of the game said if any discrimination is seen then contact a steward. How is telling the City fans to sit down but letting half the Kop end stand up not discrimination?

Half and half scarves are for tourists or cup finals and the like. Where were the half and half scarves for Barnsley at home last season? It's just a league match and its cringeworthy. It wouldn't have been so bad the first time we faced these clubs in 08 but this is the 6th time we'll be playing all these clubs in the league in 5/6 years.
