After yet another good spanking dished out by the lads to our delusional neighbours, the ante is being upped in relation to their self reflection. They ask themselves, why are they being forced into coming to terms with accepting yet another loss against their cheesy chip loving neighbours, whom apparently reside within somekind of shadow world, when back in the world of reality, they are supposed to be winning? The evening chronicle, seemingly now caught up within the mammoth frustration caused by truth, have chosen to lash out against the club owner, once again. Now from the perspective of a mackem, it is quite wonderful to see such bitterness placed upon the front page of the local rag indeed. (Imagine all those bags of cheesy chips being wrapped up within the warmth of the petulent bitterness of the evening chronicle, bong face and all.) A chuckle for a mackem indeed. http://tinyurl.com/myzqcky
I've updated the link with a tiny url, all good matey! I think the first link was too long or something so shortened it with the tiny url. http://tinyurl.com/myzqcky
They changed the link http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/chronicle-prints-front-page-message-6264652
Good post mate. It's great to see the papers now behaving like the supporters. Lashing out and using the same tired clichés we've heard a million times before. The boycoutts & mock funerals, the death threats & banners were bad enough, but now the papers are acting like twisty little bairns. Between the supporters and the local press they're doing everything possible to put off a prospective buyer but they're too thick to realise it. Long may it continue
This was guaranteed to happen. With Ashley banning the papers from the club , what did the daft cockney numpty expect. And as we all know, you don't cross the media, the twats have long memories and definitely hold grudges. Even as we speak they will have people going through Ashleys bins.
But surely the most respected Newcastle journalist, Lee Ryder, hasn't been banned from the club!!!!!!!!!! He's the only one who can keep an eye on the supporters and the club at the same time
I have a cunning idea for the evening chronicle. Whilst they are on with the owner of newcastle un-united, maybe they ought to throw a front page headline attacking the oxford concise dictionary too. READ THIS OXFORD CONCISE DICTIONARY. We, the evening chronicle, the official voice of an entire nation, demand that you change the spelling of boycott to boycoutt with immediate effect. We, the official voice of an entire nation are no longer able to stand by and watch such a disgraceful bastardisation of the English language.
if you ever needed proof that acs is in fact Steve Wraith, look no further http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/235567-It-just-gets-better
Thanks, but some of us have been banned from even looking at the Mag board which was Albert's retaliation for being banned off here
Acs isnt banned to my knowledge mate Here is the op This is the text of an email from the Newcastle United Supporters Trust which I have just received. Beggars belief. Fans not welcome at Fans Forum As the only elected body representing fans, the board of Newcastle United Supporters Trust (NUST) welcomed the invitation to take up a permanent position on the Fans Forum organised by Newcastle United. The Trust looked forward to the chance to interact with club officials on behalf of our members, with the opportunity to ask pertinent questions and report back to the membership afterwards. The inaugural meeting of the Forum took place in September and little were we to suspect that the NUST permanent position would last only one night. The Trust made clear that we reserved the right to report back to our members as to what went on at the Fans Forum, the club confirming via their Fans Liaison Officer that they accepted this. Questions were duly asked (many supplied by our members following an online survey) at the Forum by the NUST representative, Peter Fanning, and a lively meeting produced many interesting topics of discussion. Two days later, NUST published Peter Fanning's overview of the meeting and it attracted a lot of publicity, due mainly to the nature of the topics covered but also the fact the Newcastle United minutes didn't appear until 24 hours after they'd been advertised to be released. When the club minutes did belatedly appear, nothing of substance that had been reported by NUST was contradicted in Newcastle United's official feedback. However, the spirit of openness has dramatically ended and NUST have been informed by Newcastle United that their 'permanent' place at the Fans Forum has now been withdrawn, the only democratically elected organisation open to the whole of the NUFC fanbase, barred from attending the next meeting in December and all subsequent Fan Forums. So, in the same week that the Trust organised a successful conference on fan engagement at Newcastle University Business School, covered by the BBC and attended by delegates from all over the country, the club have barred the local press and the only elected fans' body from interacting with Newcastle United. At the same time at a national level, the Government's Culture Media and Sports Select Committee have recommended that football clubs develop meaningful and structured relationships with supporters. They say the first casualty of war is the truth. The fans and local media don't want to be at war with our football club, we just want a well run Newcastle United that values all of its supporters and the integral part NUFC plays at the heart of the local community.
Don't talk daft man, it's funny. Obviously not for you but it's a bit of idle pisstaking while we're waiting for the match. I have to say I find it a little hypocritical for you to come onto a Sunderland board, as your match is about to kick off, and say we're obsessed
Its local topical news, we've had threads on the boro manager sacking aswell, is that not allowed either
