MD did look very good today. It's very different playing his type of game in the prem. Because he likes to get forward so much with the speed of the game being much quicker than in France I think he needed to improve his fitness a bit and learn to pick his moments to go forward better. Seems today he wasn't caught out of position so much.

I agree here, a much better game from him.
Hopefully it will be the sign of things to come.
 
He may have to play CB in the next game, if Colo is still injured and MYM being suspended. Not sure how match fit Taylor is?
 
The good thing is that although JK scuppers incoming deals, it also appears with Cabaye he is scuppering outgoing deals too. Picture it, Dummett makes heady progression into one of the worlds best left backs. Real Madrid place their 100m offer which is accepted. JK hops on the plane with young Dummett bound for Madrid. They are greeted by club president Florentino Perez.

"Alright Tino me old mucker. Can we grab a bite to eat, I'm ****ing starvin and the ****ers still won't serve me alcohol on the plane. I've got previous with the ****s."

"Er yes Mr Kinnear, where would you like to go, we have many fine restaurants"

"Well none of your spanish ****e, always gives me a dicky stomach. You scruffy spics never wash anything do you, dirty bastards. Just a ****ing good old English greasy spoon pronto garcon"

Perez gives him the one fingered salute and points him back towards the plane. Dummett is left with his dreams in tatters. The end.

Have you got a bug planted on JK? That sounds word for word for what he would be saying.

He has a bit of experience there for the reserves and St Mirren but undoubtedly best at left back. Not sure we'll have much choice!
