And i know a fee still needs to be agreed - i think it will.It'lkl be somewhere between the two clubs valuations i recon. Probably more than we want to pay, but i'm confident it wont be a penny over £50mil

What about a pound over 50 mil? Sorry to easy!

So you moan about our ticket prices without taking into consideration the London factor but take it into account when looking at our valutation? And to think there is going to be some kind of re-evaluation of property price in london is completely deluded!

Your whole reply is basically 5 paragraphs of "BUT WE ARE THE MOST PASSIONATE FANSS AND WON STUFFS IN THE 80'S WHICH MEANS CHINESE PEOPLE KNOW WHO WE ARE!!" completing ignoring that in every single measurement that can have some kind of figure or basis for comparison - Arsenal trump Liverpool. You speaking to some dude abroad an him knowing Liverpool doesnt change the fact that Arsenal have almost 50% more worldwide fans.

I know you lot love to throw out all these cliches about being the best fans etc but thats just an opinion and can't be quantified. All of the things i have put forward are measurable.

Stadium - Arsenal
Finances - Arsenal
Value - Arsenal
Competitions Entered - Arsenal
Manager - Arsenal
League Standings - Arsenal
etc etc etc......

Now I KNOW that you are truly an idiot when you make a comment like "some kind of re-evaluation of property price in london is completely deluded!"

Sonny it's way past your bedtime!

Winning things - Liverpool

<laugh>

I guess he'll leave out by aug. Just to give some time on his previous fellow players. Good luck to his new team though.

@bluff city red

I knew someone wasgonnareply that when i was writing out the comment lol

@Sisu -
since Wenger has been at Arsenal we have won far more than Liverpool and other than the 1 CL trophy several years ago now your hardly a big trophy winning club. I appreciate that Arsenal have had a trophy droubt coinciding with a new stadium and the mega rich clubs emergence in the league, but we have made several finals and are in a much better position to compete now BECAUSE of all the other things listed.

@foredeckdave

Mate its 7 oclock, isnt it still abit early for the whole "time for bed" line?

Please do tell me this solid evidence you have (since your obviously very convinced property prices in London are going to collapse)?

<laugh> Touche mon frere<laugh>

Not a man united feeder club - Liverpool

Speaking of that, if Fabregas goes to United ( which a report today says is done, will believe when I see it) do Arsenal get a cut for the sell on?

Stupid null quotation bug.

My capabilities at negotiation are irrelevant lol. And I haven't seen any negotiation; you've asked we've said no chance, not for sale to you. Neither of your bids are remotely near our valuation and the reported next bid of 42 isn't either...

Remember, I'm not the one stating that two bids at 10 million under the asking price is proof of intent to re-establish yourselves as a trophy winning club. (Neither have you so far TBF but your brethren have)It's Arsenal fans asking to be taken seriously and pointing to bids that suggest anything but....then getting upset when we question this so called evidence.

Dave has highlighted very eloquently the other reasons why your club isn't taken seriously no matter how well run and how much cash is in the bank. The club seem happy to tread water and the fans seem to put "qualifying" in the trophy cabinet.

Our discussions of our "history" aren't misty eyed reminiscing, not entirely. It's a reminder to our club of the only thing we'll settle for. 4th place is along the way not at the end of the road.

Now again, Suarez might see you as a step up, he might agree with you but it's irrelevant if you don't offer enough cash for him. Because he's blown the only tactic he can use: bad behaviour; because let's face it, how much worse could he behave than when he was "happy" to be with us!

@sisu - we sold one player to Utd - after we sign Suarez will you be refering to Liverpoolas Arsenals feeder club? <rofl>

Obviously certain aren't you, will you come back for some humble pie if he doesn't sign? You're so irritated your words are all over the shop mate, calm down, stop beating your keyboard.

Please reply to my answer to your quantification post:)

Before Michael Owen's opinions turned up on the ****e rag beeb site, those were my exact sentiments, go to arsenal if you want to play in the CL but if you want to win something do not go to Arsenal, undeniable truth.

8 glorious years of potential.

And here's poor old Liverpool, with things behind the scenes in a shambles at times and still manage to add to a trophy haul that dwarfs the might gunner's who are shooting blanks for almost a decade

I figured you left that line there and I took the bait, lol, too easy though!

Since 05 we have had Carling cup final,Cl win, FA cup win, CL final, 2nd place ( still grates me) , CC win, FA final so we have also been in some pretty big comepetitions and been right there or there abouts. Not even counting the pummeling we gave teams in Europe during the reign of Rafa. Those days are gone and hopefully we get back to CL.

Btw, I thought the Puma deal kicked in this year? That deal is pretty big btw! Unlucky you lot don't get to try Warrior out though....

Rofl @ how much worse could his behaviour be! Had me in stitches!

I agree it doesnt matter until a fee is agreed though - i do think a fee will be agreed though. We havent previously tried to spend huge money on a player and for us to pursue him like this and not up our offer seems unlikely. Especially considering of our the field positon - newfinancialdealsandthe debt not being an issueanymore has meant we have freed up alot of cashwe previously wouldn't have had. I have a feeling this is a sign to come of bigger bids comming out of ARsenal in general. But particularly i think signing Suarez would be a stetment from Arsenal.

It'll be interesting to see how it plays out but i do think the deal will eventually be done - can't wait to see what the price is :P
