It was always on the cards that I was gonna dish out enough money to take my lass on 3 top notch foreign holidays over a foolish internet bet, wasn't it <doh> Sorry to disappoint Bill you gullible old chap. Congrats on virtually reaching safety, the derbies will continue for at least another year <party>

Black and white you may be, but you're a ****in arse. You've shown yourself up lad.

Your idea of a top notch holiday clearly differs wildly from mine mind....

You can add Forest, Sheff Wed, Luton, Oxford, Coventry, Wimbledon and Portsmouth to that list Paolo. Though a couple of those are from as far back as I remember (late 80's).

Already knew that from the moment he came up with the bet, just wanted to call his bluff, I would have paid up. I dont need the bread, but my charitys do, and I offered him/her the option of 25% his/her charity. never mind, will do it myself. Not got a great time left, so I will donate on his behalf. SUNDERLAND BLUFFCALLERS 1 - NEWCASTLE BULLSHITTERS 0

It's the internet mate, if what you say is true you are a silly, silly man. Buy your grand-kids a present that will make their year or something <ok>

Ok I didn't realise I was coming across as a wum, sorry about that. Feel free in future to give me a punch anytime you think I'm crossing a line, I generally try not to wind people up.

Not sure how to put up the links to my comments as I'm terrible at most internet stuff but on the thread "1st half" I was commenting during the match stuff like “Good goal, not sure what our defenders were doing but stilll a good run and finish. Officials have been poor but i guess you could argue the 'offside' and 'penalty' balance out, either way Sunderland have been the better team so far.”

and then on "Well Done" added "Today the better team won, I expected us to come at you more in the second half but once we didn't get that onside goal (and don't get me wrong there was a littany of officiating errors that stung both teams so its not an excuse) we simply didn't do enough to get back into it. Oddly I think the single biggest difference between the teams today was finishing, some absolute corkers from your boys.

Well done, its been a tough season but hopefully in a month or so we can all look back on a season to forget and just move on next year to more premiership derbies. You needed this more than us and deserved the result entirely."
