The Croods is amazing - if you fancy taking the kids to the pictures. I thoroughly enjoyed it too.... Here's the trailer
I didn't like it, it's one of those films that is so highly rated and everyone loves it but I just couldn't get into it. I found the same with Lincoln maybe I'm not a fan of DDL.
Think DDL is fine but I am with you on There Will Be Blood...... thought it was a waste of 2 hours of my life and couldn't believe how highly rated it was. No Country for Old men however was fantastic, came out around the same time. Best DDL one for me is Gangs of New York, thought he was Boss in that.
Goodfella's was on last night, cracking film watched blade trinity after it too The Hobbit is out in a few weeks, canny wait
Disappointing but the Carl thing will be interesting and I like how they left it with basically no sign of where this is going to go and where they can really maneuver how they want. Not an ending that was like Season 2 with " ahh ok new charcter and new place" but now it is quite open I think.
Watched Robin Hood starring Russell Crowe last night, it was alright but felt it could have been better. Watched a film this afternoon too..."We're gonna need a bigger boat!"
Did anyone watch Game of Thrones? I thought it was the perfect start to the new series, it sort of re-sets the scene. I would have liked to see more of Robb Stark and Arya wasn't even in this episode... Unfortunately I was told by someone who's read the books what happens to some of the characters, which is annoying but I'm looking forward to see how it happens.
If I remember then you're getting to the good part . I watched Season 1 and 2 after season 2 had finished, like you and I got completely hooked.
