Cesar is an amazing shot stopper.......but is prone to silly mistakes that have cost us in the past and nearly cost us a 4th goal when he fumbled the ball straight at him. A poor defence doesnt help....but signing him, when we already had Green just shows what MH was like at man managment and how he didnt care about upsetting other squad members.
Certainly hard to argue with that although personally I would not lump Zamora in with the bad apples as his performances only dipped when he was playing with his hip injury.
Zamora is known to be a bad apple......he doesnt bond with the team.....he comes to training and leaves the second training is over...never does any activities with the rest of the squad. And has been quoted to say he is falling out of love with the game. Not what you need in this situation.
Fair enough I'm not up with the behind the scenes stuff so if that is true then obviously its not good. Always appeared to give it everything on the pitch though until he got injured.
He is a good player.....just his attitude doesnt help in this situation, just like a lot of the other players.
Hoilett is a class act in my book, yet another player we haven't given a proper chance to (see ephraim and puncheon), wouldn't blame him if he wanted to leave to be honest. Was brilliant when he came on against West Brom, yet swp starts before him again against Liverpool. Must do wonders for his confidence.
i'm sad to think that diakite might be in the 'bad apple' category. he's had some excellent games this season and was great for us last year. Do we really think he's in the boswinga mould or is he just playing badly in a bad side lacking confidence? I rather hope its the latter. if we can retain a few good players out of this shambles the rebuilding process wont be so agonising. I for one hope Diakite can be moulded into something decent - he certainly has potential.
I thought he and M'bia tried their hardest yesterday. But they were both awful, woefully form, looked lost and M'bia's diving was embarrassing. Do these guys know what their job on the pitch is?
and this is what im struggling with at the moment. who is actually **** and who is just out of form / lacking confidence? Its difficult to tell when the whole side plays like they did on Sunday. Obviously i'm not referring to the 'tryers' here. We know Hill, MAckie etc have limited ability but their desire to fight for the cause means they're first on my team sheet.
Swords is a quality post a concrete one and has run out of things to moan about. He must have been over the moon his team won yesterday. xx
I don't think Diakite is a disruptive player, I just don't think his head is there....remember him being out for ages at the beginning of the season with depression? Says a lot about his mental fragility.
The only thing I cant think of is that he must be a lazy player in training, Id ask for a transfer if SWP got played ahead of me in a pub team.
Nail on the head Flyer, he should be ashamed a winger who can't score or cross is picked in ahead of him!
