"Kirkland collapsed and had to receive lengthy treatment before continuing. United supporters had also attempted to confront their Sheffield counterparts in an adjoining stand and with a number, almost unbelievably, having chanted in praise of Jimmy Savile, it left a thoroughly unpleasant taste in the mouth and the club will surely face a Football Association inquiry at the very least." ( http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/oct/19/sheffield-wednesday-leeds-united-championship ) Sick as ****.
Theres a big number of morons, what has chanting praising a paedo got to do with a football match. Its almost as if they are proud of being dumb.
fans on your board ... and your away fans? Same idiots and thugs. You know them all. But you are only so wise and so fair when it is too late. Moderator? MASSIVE idiot!
Top man. Apology gratefully received and more than accepted Ellers. (Shows just how easy it is to shut a ranting mod right up!)
Knew it! (Just had to note the time and day you posted.) Must've been a right bender. How's yer head?!!
I see that while you were celebrating you couldn't notice what happened on the pitch but you managed to see that the other 5000 Leeds 'fans' were not watching either. And you obviously managed to question all 5000 on their way out. It's apologists like you you that bring the game down to a new low.
I wasn't there, I watched it on television. But I know a couple who were, and they didn't see the incident, neither did anyone else on here or other Leeds forums who attended. It was stupid to suggest literally no-one saw it, but to suggest 5000 celebrating football fans were able to watch it happen and identify the guy in his seat at the back of the tier is ridiculous. I'd suggest a more accurate representation of the larger reaction would be the fans who watched it on TV who identified the guy and informed the police within minutes.
Know you've been getting a bit of stick from us mate - but gotta say you do seem a reasonable footy fan type of bloke (should I say for a Leeds fan?!!), so my apologies. Just noticed where you live though. Highlands hub! Good crowd up there (barring the junkies!). Spent some time there with a mate of mine over the years: Crown Street near the Sheriffs Court. Good times (including Cally Thistle). He now lives south side of the loch, down towards Fort Augustus way.
Great wee city, can't imagine there are many better places to live in the UK. ICT are a great club, I volunteer at the local hospice occasionally and Adam Rooney and Ritchie Foran came to the Christmas party a couple of years ago, great lads who couldn't do enough to help, take pictures with the patients etc., fantastic for the community. Haha this may come as a surprise but I've found most Leeds fans are like me!
Can I honestly ask what it was you thought I was saying? Because your reply doesn't correspond to my comment in any way.
