Oh so you are able to think of some things positively then. If only I had a pound for every speculative and needlessly negative post on 606...
I still think getting rid of Ribeiro was a huge mistake on our part because the guy has flashes of absolute brilliance between trips to the medics. If we could have stabilised him a bit and kept him with us as a sub I think he'd get over his injury issues. That being said, the more I read about Davies the more excited I get. I'd love to see us play Pitman, Stead and Davies up front today and although I doubt Davies will score until he finds his feet I can definitely see us snatching a win for the first time in a while.
ribs too injury prone could never keep a good run in team i rather see stead and davies together pitman dont try hard enough
Ribeiro was on 4k a week with us though so when he was on wages like that it's not hard to see why he was let go if he couldn't stay fit..
bloody hell! write him off already why dont you?! apparently he drives too - oh ****, he'll probably break down on the way to the ground and miss the game! and he eats food - what if he chokes on his food before a match?! and he has a heart - oh no! that means he could have a heart attack! and what if he doesn't score on his debut?! quick, get rid of him now before its too late!
