so Ireland beat England at their own game in the cricket world cup. What reward do they get ? Not allowed enter the next 2 world cups. I hate cricket its a fagotty prod game but still take yer beatings like men for **** sake
While I admire your rabid Anglophobia, can you please explain why cricket is: i) gay? ii) a prod game?
1. gay : how the **** can you play a 'game' for 5 days and still draw? its a bit gay 'oh look charles lets just say we all won' 2. a prod game : it is a game played by Church of Ireland schools its not played in national schools
Why are you bothered? If an English Gaelic football team beat Ireland then got banned, I couldn't give less of a **** to be honest.
If I can counter your arguments by saying: 1. It's a good excuse to go on the lash for 5 days. 2. The most populous cricket playing nations are India and Pakistan where Christianity of any form is a very small minority. You could more accurately call it a Hindu or a Muslim sport. Even in traditional Christian cricket-playing countries, I think you argument is unique to Ireland.
Stop posting pictures from your porn collection please. The decision was made ages ago by the ICC and the reason is simple: money. Less money was made from TV at the last but one World Cup due to Pakistan being knocked out early. The ICC don't want this to happen again so they've changed the format as they do over and over again. England have only one vote in ICC decisions so you should equally direct your ire at Australia, South Africa and especially India as they pretty much run things. Seems that rather than the usual "the whole world hates the English" that we tend to hear from your sort it's more a case of "the whole world couldn't give a **** about the irish". Enjoy.
the only english Gaa team of note is London and the day they win a match i think theyll get a trophy not banned im not too pushed i just hate the hypocrasy* of oh ye good enough to beat us ..erm yer not good enough for the tournament anymore
Actually, although a minority, Christianity is the third largest religion in India, more popular thank Sikhism and Buddhism.
Oops I just made the same point in the Cricket threads. Apologies aswordmadeofhash. Mind you I was joking about it being about Ireland beating England, its more likely about money. If the ICC want to expand the sport this really is a retrogade step, do they just want to keep it as a sport played by 10 countries? I thought they had ambitions to get it into the olympics? well thats not going to happen after this decision.
Well, much against my wishes we do poach your players so it's in our interest that you develope as a cricketing nation. The fact that all of your players are "heave and hope" merchants has not escaped me either but we appear to suffer from a lack of players who are prepared to risk their wicket in the search for runs so yours are plugging the gap.
I never thought of it that way, Sword is correct. Although you still cannot beat the sound of willow on leather or the screams of a pre pubescent fag being tosted on the fire in a game of muffins. Ah how I miss cambridge.
