Feel free. Although tell me if you do just so I know that any replies I say to you won't be seen. Don't want to be wasting my time.

But please, take off the biased specs for a minute, watch the video a few times, and then tell me whether I MIGHT, just might, have a point.

My worry is that the FA will see it the way you have said. Our best chance will be if the referee had seen it and it's been classed as dealt with at the time

I was only joking regarding the button...And as for the so-called stamp, he has nothing to answer to as far as I'm concerned, and I would be shocked if it went any further...

Cabaye there was doubt as it was a tangle of legs (kicked him for me), Balotelli there was doubt (still not sure on that one as I think my thoughts on Balotelli probably cloud my judgement) are two I can think of off the top of my head. There is one nearly every week it seems now. Then again Lescott got off with a blatant elbow in the Spurs match.

Who knows, the FA are completely incompetent and inconsistent but in general they tend to charge them.

The major issue, to me, is the combination of intent plus the 'stamp' (accidental or otherwise). If Sessegnon had absolutely no reason to do that, then it's easier to view it as an accident. However, an incident happened seconds prior to the stamp (Arteta diving with seconds left on the clock) which gave Sessegnon a big reason to be very angry and frustrated. The FA will know about this, and I do think they will factor it in, which could be the big turning point.

PS: Just imagine that you're in Sessegnon's boots. Arsenal have just scored against you RIGHT at the end of the match, and with seconds left, you're desperate to try and get something out of the game. You go in to get the ball from Arteta, but from the SLIGHTEST of touches, Arteta drops to the ground, wins a foul and pretty much wastes up those last remaining seconds of game time. Do you think that could be an incident which could cause the dreaded 'red mist' and result in a moment of stupidity as he lashes out in frustration?

The double standards is laughable. Sess goes studs down on the ankle, intent to harm or not, he still did. And should be punished for doing so like other players have been (Balotelli, Cabaye). You all slated Huth, barely touched Meyler and his legs were tucked in. No harm nor intent, like you all said though, the potential was there.

That's the point though, deliberate does not come into for the FA most of the time. They just look at the incident, charge and feel great about themselves. As I've already said I doubt he intended to jump on his leg, but he did and that is how the FA will judge it. Not commenting whether its right or wrong, but f they going to be consistent then they'll have to charge him.

You'd think so but the refs on Cabaye and Balotelli also saw it and dealt with it at the time only to change their tune after watching a replay. They just seem to bypass this premise when it suits.

We never slated Huth, we slated Pulis for being a ****ing ****er.

I'm sure Wearside & Tyneside can unite on that one!

We gave Huth great credit for speaking out, in fact.

Anyone else get the feeling that Chapps, Pouch et al are worried about our Sess?

I'd be chuffed to bits if Sessegnon was banned. He's your best player. Why wouldn't I be?

My moaning on a forum isn't going to make a jot of difference to the outcome though, so I have no reason to really be biased about it. I'm just saying what I see.

Not going to lie but I am. I have always rated him to be fair but we will have Cabaye and Tiote back aswell unless something happens against Wolves.

meh, nowt much in it in my opinion either but naturally i think that sess should be hung out to dry, hung drawn and quartered etc in time for the Derby.McClean should get the same for being in close proximity.

Skunk here, seems pretty innocuous to me. If you watch anything in slow motion, it can look bad, but watching it in real time, looks like he was getting the ball to get on with the game.

That's a 3 match ban all day long if you ask me.

I bet if Huth did what Sessegnon did you'd be screaming for him to get a 15 match ban.
