Alan Pardew has just ruled himself out of the England managers job........ Bet the FA are gutted!!!!! By the way, I am announcing i'm not interested as well..thought I would mention that, as I had as much chance of getting it as he had.
If he's been asked by a journalist whether he would be interested in the job, what would you expect him to say? In fact, I think he's answered it spot on. He's said that he doesn't think he has a chance, but hypothetically, he wouldn't take it anyway. Seems fair to me.
A message to David Bernstien.. Dear Mr. Bernstein.. I would like now to officially throw my hat in the ring, in order to become the next England manager.... I used to have an Atari, and then a playststion, followed by an x-box... During extensive hours of game play, i became quite adapt at these games, and even sometimes won..(this i feel is valuable experience for an England manager). I have even once came top on the Argus predictions on the SAFC board on the infamous not 606 board. I am quite adapt at watching you-tube videos, and reading the gossip columns. I would not be afraid of travelling to the North-east of England to watch some of the in-form players, ply their trade. (this i feel has been lacking for many a year). I promise i would not automatically pick Terry, Gerrard or Lampard... The salary i would expect could be negotiable, but a starting point of around £6 million a year, seems fine. If i am a successful candidate, i would promise to deliver the results in order to getting to at least the last 16 in any major competitions, that we are lucky enough to reach. I await your call will anticipation.. Many thanks Commachio.
I'm pretty dissapointed by that to be honest. I'd have liked Pardew as the England manager. Think he's done good jobs wherever he's been and he's a good man manager.
Pretty stupid article. He would have been asked, not to mention he was in the top 5 in the odds last night.
Hey, I hope you are not expecting a reference from me!!! You could be in line to take over from me one day, I'm sure that's a much more interesting proposition and certainly less hassle - so show some patience.
Got to say the best time someone ruled themselves out of England contention was when Joey Barton retired from international duty ha ha ha Oh the cheek!
