Yes i know i'm no expect at this but hey ho Do you like my choice, whats yours..? please log in to view this image
Nobody who saw Viggo Jensen play would leave him out of the team or Eddie Burbanks for that matter. There are also a couple of pre-WW2 players who I never saw play but were Hull City legends in Ronnie Starling and Dally Duncan. Starling went on to play for England and was in Sheffield's FA Cup winning team of 1932 I believe whilst Duncan, who was born in Scotland and played 14 times for his country and won an FA Cup wining medal with Derby County, started his professional career with Hull City and never played for a Scottish team during his professional playing career. There are of course players like Don Revie who went on to make a name for themselves elsewhere whilst others like Neil Franklin, Stan Mortensen and Wilf Manion were brilliant internationals in their day but were in the winter of their careers when they joined Hull City. Good selection though.
you've just stick a load of heads on wrong bodies. billy whitehurst looks a right wimp with his head on ian ormodondryods body.
Is that Myhill in a goalkeeper shirt? (reading this on a tiny gadget). All-time top keeper? I'm not sure he was even better than our last two loan keepers.
sorry but carter only played for us in the days when everythng was in black and white. you cant have him in the ironing accidnet shirt.
Its all only done in a fun way, people on this board are bound to have there own players in mind, as for Roacastle i thought the little time he spent here he was a class act, anyways for the young posters they are as follows from left to right: Back row: Ken Wagstaff, Stuart Pearson, Ken Houghton, Richard Jobson, Wayne Jacobs, Michael Turner, Middle row: Brian Horton, David Roacastle, Stuart Elliott, Boaz Myhill (Reserve), Tony Norman (First choice), Dean Windass, Peter Skipper, Nick Barmby, Front row, Raich Carter, Billy Askew, Garreth Roberts, Chris Chilton, Billy Whitehurst, Ian Ashbee, Keith Edwards, Justin Whittle. All the black and white pics are new signings Different choice or no different you gotta admit its not half bad
I played golf a couple of times with Stan McEwan at Hainsworth so glad to see him in the squad.. of course he must partner Skip. If you select Turner you put him with Wayne Brown... etc. partnerships for me.. Windass & Campbell the one who looks LEAST like himself is Waggy! and he goes of course with Chillo..
