Yup ...
... not to mention adding millions in costs to any British business exporting into Europe ...
Still at least the NHS benefitted as promised by the Big Red Bus ... oh wait
I'm sure someone has made a few bob out of the whole fiasco. The funniest thing about it was that if their asylum claims were subsequently successful then we were obligated to fly them back ... and compensate them.
... but the 'entrepreneurs' behind the flights stood to make similar fortunes as the hotel chains with 100% bookings ...
The cheaper alternative, by a country mile, would have been to reverse the civil service cuts that have been happening for decades and simply process and investigate the asylum claims much quicker ... but no 'entrepreneur' is making a fortune out of that - no non-competitive lucrative contracts to hand out to 'business acquaintances' ...
....but Starmer wouldn't torpedo the boats!!!... Gaaahhhh!!
And you don't? Endlessly banging on about how it is unfair to taint anyone foreign with the same brush yet happy to do so yourself. You hear what you want to hear, because you have climbed into an echo chamber and lost all contact with reality. You are a brainwashed victim of Musk and other assorted oligarchs' campaign to get dumb spanners like you to blame immigrants for the mess the world is in.
Edit: you also outed yourself as a nonce years ago
Why do all these left tards keep posting about Rupo?

Cos he's a ****, and so are you![]()
I’m a realist. You’re a fantasist

The way that Daily Mail headline reads, the dead man was out celebrating his birthday with the Senegalese immigrant’s wife. Perhaps she had thought as an easy way of getting into the UK – get rid of her husband and take up with a Brit. You must log in or register to see media
Stupid gammon deserved it for going to Tenerife

Hilarious. Another post from the fantasy world of asylum seeker knowledge ‘Refugees Welcome’ banner waving.
There is no genuine asylum seeker coming ashore in a small boat to this country. Perhaps you should read Section 24 of the Immigration Act. They have all crossed countries where they could have sought asylum, it seems large numbers of them destroy any documentation that they possess as it would see their claims immediately rejected; and they rely on Leftie lawyers (a huge waste of taxpayers’ money) to come up with ridiculous reasons why they should be allowed to stay. Genuine asylum seekers would come here by legitimate means (e.g. ferry, plane) with documentation to prove their claim.
How does this reversing of civil service cuts work? There have not been any civil service cuts – even when politicians promised them. The biggest waste of taxpayers’ money in this country is the bloated civil service overloaded with bureaucrats that do nothing all day but travel around to attend pointless meetings where more paperwork is shuffled and no actual work is done. Make me PM and I will axe 100,000 of them on Day One and make the remainder show up on Day Two and do some work or face the sack.
It seems that supporters of the incompetent Liebour regime have torpedoed Stalin 2.0 to replace him with someone equally (at least) incompetent. If they wanted to keep Stalin 2.0 then they should have protest voted for Reform in Makerfield to leave Burnham with just Manchester as his fiefdom.

Perhaps you would like to quote me those Home Office statistics to save me wasting my time going and looking. One number that I do know off the top of my head is that the number of successful final asylum claims in 2025 was 42% – I saw that on a graph in The Telegraph the other day. The reality is that you would have to go and look statistics up because you know nothing that you are not fed by the Establishment and just blindly believe.Think I'd rather trust the Home Office figures on genuine refugees and asylum approvals than your 'knowledge' from the Brighouse & Rastrick Roundabout Painters Rotary Club ... no disrespect.
If you'd bothered to look, it would also have saved you the drafting of yet another meandering self-indulgent monologue of unadulterated mouth farting...
Well done Einstein for telling us what has been general knowledge for many yearsUnited States – border with Central American country from where many South/Central American ‘asylum seekers’ arrive.
Germany – allegedly the destination of choice for ‘asylum seekers’ since Mutti openly invited them years ago.
France, Spain, Italy – countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea that ‘asylum seekers’ cross seeking the gold-paved streets of the EU.
United Kingdom – no border with any country from which ‘asylum seekers’ can genuinely arrive without having first crossed at least one other country in which they could have requested asylum.
