Burnham will be another joke the country will suffer again. You seem as if you afraid that Burnham might actually be good and your Reform/Restore boys will suffer as a result.

Nothing to do with being absolutely useless as PMs .No PM has served a full term since Cameron 2010-2015. Then Brexit happened and we have 7 PM's in 10 years. Coincidence?![]()

Society has changed its views of life. People want everything now, and if you do not deliver your popularity can last less than a year these days... its a worry going forward. No PM has served a full term since Cameron 2010-2015. Then Brexit happened and we have 7 PM's in 10 years. Coincidence?![]()
Think this is fair. Instant gratification is the name of the game. No one has any patience or any tolerance at this point in time.Society has changed its views of life. Well,it's definately good for the party. He is 1/50 to be the next Labour leader. I can see this happening very quickly which is good for the party and the country.
Already priced in.Worth noting there has been very little immediate reaction in the markets with the resignation announcement. Initially the pound strengthened and UK borrowing costs dropped.
Its early days but compare that to the previous volatile changes and it suggests that investors aren't too worried about who will replace him.
That is how democrecy is meant to work - people voting for the person in their area who they feel represents their views the most. Whatever democresy has meant to represent since Brexit - cretinus ****ers who **** all over our country's prosperity over an imigration policy which had been ****ed for decades - its hard to work out where we really go. Unless people take a stand against the media and its relentless and unfair manner which each leader is championed before victory and abused there after we don't stand a chance. I think most of us with a reasonable amount of intelligence realise we aren't the world power we were but we have a hell of alot of knowledge on how the world works. If we can just stabilise our own situation we could once again become a power of good and trust amongst the hideous arseholes who change the world's direction from day to day. It’s ok because people re already dismantling Burnham! Pointing out his errors in the past etc.
In every general election I have voted for the party with the manifesto which best suited me. Since I was old enough to vote.
Whilst that was labour in my younger days, less so recently. That will continue to be the same going forward.
And I can guarantee it will never be Farage!
I think people will wait if promises are fulfilled, but the manifesto was ripped up within days of his appointment and the constant U-Turns were embarrassing, lie after lie and his control of the MSM was a disgrace. He could have fell on his sword with a little bit of dignity but had to be dragged kicking and screaming. He is the worst prime minister in my lifetime bar Thatcher. He was totally out of his depth. He went after the wrong people and rewarded the countries scroungers, once you turn on your own people its only a matter of time. He got what he deserved.Society has changed its views of life. Hope so mate, don't really know much about his politics but he has a more modern image the youth will be able to get behind. My niece in Manchester, manager in the NHS, seems to think the sun shines out of his arse. Hope she's correct but think he may be a lot further left than most expect, which would be a good thing for me. The excessively wealthly of this country/world need to put under alot more pressure to do more for the good of society. No problem with been wealthy but theres only so much anyone needs.Well,it's definately good for the party.
On that line of thinking, will Burnham be a lot less encumbered than the usual people that come to power?I think people will wait if promises are fulfilled, but the manifesto was ripped up within days of his appointment and the constant U-Turns were embarrassing, lie after lie and his control of the MSM was a disgrace. Remains to be seen how left he is. I think he's too intelligent to further stifle enterprise and capital flow, understanding that easing will be required to to create growth, but....we'll see.Hope so mate, don't really know much about his politics but he has a more modern image the youth will be able to get behind. Yep Morgan McSweeney and Darren Jones had far too much influence over Starmer. On that line of thinking, will Burnham be a lot less encumbered than the usual people that come to power?
Less in debt / in control by others than Starmer.
No idea on that, I honestly don’t know much about him. I’m just pleased Starmer is gone.On that line of thinking, will Burnham be a lot less encumbered than the usual people that come to power?

To be totally honest, I’ve been around for a good few years and I can say hand on heart there isn’t one person in Parliament today that I would be happy giving my vote to for PM.Nothing to do with being absolutely useless as PMs .
I am at the stage where I dont care anymore, majority of MPs are there to help themselves to whatever they can get, the PM just at a greater scale, all conmen
