Good atmosphere and that, but the WC does not officially start until the first white plastic chair is thrown across a public square over the heads of dining families and the police with riot shields charge into a packed pub.Brilliant.![]()

Pickford is a great goalie but he gets too excited at times, which in turn fks with his head and decision making, fkr needs to take a chill pill before games. So, reinforces my theory that we can score against any team, but also that we can concede against anyone. Pickford looks a bit dodgy on crosses as well.

Yepp, there are a number of coincidences. I'm convinced Lassie is coming home.......It was also England's first 4-2 win in a World Cup match, since the 1966 final against West Germany.
NYPD had to close Times Sq down for a while. A mere skirmish I'd wager.I was on social media there was a bit of argy-bargy between the South American rabble and Algeria fans...

To be seen once, then avoided at all costs....Oh, times square was it? A rough spot at the best of times
As a highly qualified, time served and succesful manager/coach of football teams, she is a tad more than a pundit. But, hey ho, horses for courses.I completely disagree. She talks like someone who is very good at picking up buzz words and almost gets them right when describing/analysing a game but she’s just not quite there. It’s not a sexist thing either. There’s plenty of magnificent female pundits. There’s plenty of terrible male pundits. I just think Emma Hayes is terrible and cringeworthy.

She's certainly not the most eloquent of pundits; what she is though is one of the very top female coaches in the world - her CV is exemplary, umpteen WSL titles, similar with FA & League Cup trophies, coached a team to Olympic gold, coach of the year, hall of famer ....I completely disagree. But not totally wrong!!Bit of a slur on lorry drivers too.
Fair bit of commentary bemoaning how open we were at the back, for me I thought we could have defended the first better yes, but the second was a peach of a goal, run into the box inches from being off, great knock down and first time finish, not one you can really criticise that one. Croatia are a good team and will create against most teams so don't think we've massive issues to solve there
Am I the only one who is never sure about James?Got to disagree about their second goal.
Ball chipped into the box and three defenders converge around the man, no one picks up the goalscorer, who's left completely alone.
James should have been tight to him.
