Was talking to a couple of their supporters at work, one thinks its OK the other thinks it ****e. Both agreed its too much of a change for a home shirt though.

I saw a comment from one of their fans on one of the socials a while ago which pretty much summed it up. It was along the lines of "it look's better as part of a football kit but if you wear that with jeans you will look a right twat".

Which is mad considering the shirts are meant to generate revenue.

Maybe they are catering to the punters, aren't stripes meant to be slimming? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I think their new kit would make them look like a reflection in a fair ground mirror.

It doesnt matter whether it looks fantastic (this doesnt), or whether it looks awful (this does), SAFC and NUFC should never drastically **** about with the thickness of the stripes.

Juventus strip, simple black and white stripes, looks classy. This is what a mag shirt should look like, not that migraine inducing monstrosity.

And the classic 1980s kit.
Juventus- how to do black and white stripes right!

If it makes them look stupid and everyone laughs at them, they should do whatever they want with the strip!

To have the stripes too narrow or too wide is a risk maybe worth taking. It might grow on you. To have them at a range of different thicknesses is mind blowingly bad. How many desks had this been passed through and signed off up on? Surely, somebody, somewhere, must have said at the design stage 'this will not go down well at all!' This makes our most recent thin stripe effort look decent.

It makes me appreciate Hummel even more. They seem to have taken real care to understand the club and the fans. I think they're switched on enough to know not to mess with the stripes like Adidas have.

Even after the season they've just endured, they still can't help themselves

My neighbour went. Stopped me in the street specifically to tell me she was going and had decided against wearing her barcode hat. I said she should have worn it and seen what happened. Unfortunately at a take that gig there's probably less people who will throw a pint of piss of someone.
