Yeah, that's a trap question. Was that when he walked out?
Answer "Yes" and you're a self-confessed cheat. BOO!
Answer "No" and you're not only a cheat, but a liar too. BOOO!
Give long answer and the response is "Just answer the question"

As a Journo, I'm sure you know more than us about this type of 'Question?' :emoticon-0105-wink:
Indeed. It's not far from "So when did you stop beating your wife?"

But Peretz signing is massive. As Tom said, his personality and presence have made a huge difference so it's not just the saves he makes that will help us.

So if one of the reasons he wanted to sign permanently was his excellent relationship with Tonda .

Do the club know something ref the FA’s decision on Tonda , or have the management convinced Perez that nothing much will happen to Tonda .

I doubt it’s the former , if it’s the latter I wonder if there’s a clause that if Tonda is banned , the contract is null and void .
Don’t be so ridiculous. That would be ridiculous and we would never agree to that

Hopefully this is somewhat of a counter to the claims (mostly started by Boro fans) that all our players would sue for constructive dismissal and leave on a free. Then mitigated down to “oh they’ll all force moves out”

We’ve had a top player choose to actually join when he had the perfect chance to jump ship

Was it TSP or here that I saw we might be trying to get some business done this month to beat the days cost rules ?

Players suing was always a non-starter. If it was realistic then I'm sure players would have done it before at clubs who'd been relegated by points penalties issued for financial issues (like Leicester this year). Of course some may still push for moves off the back of it or use it as an excuse to get a move they already want.

The timing thing may well be true for the finances, I think the end of June is the cut off? But they'll also want to get some good news out and try to build excitement among fans before they announce details of season tickets. I assume they'll want a deal for Larin sorted before the World Cup as well.

It was a genuine question .

No need for superior than though comments like yours .
It was just taking pessimism to a whole new level. Some truly good news and looking for the cloud. I’m considerably pessimistic as a person as well (although I veered towards optimism on the playoff situation) but I’m just not sure I can see the negative here

What I’ll concede is there could be a circumstance where if there is a ban for the manager he immediately leaves on loan. But it won’t be contractual as whilst you can write anything into a contract that would be so unusual. And the way he’s been speaking suggests it’s unlikely

A difference might be that I’ve listened to his interview after the signing was confirmed. Doesn’t sound like someone who would void a deal for that reason.
